Crelant 7G10 Looks pretty nice, or does it?

The Price has grown along with the lumens. 7G10

OUCH! That's going to be a tough sell considering how much you can grab some other lights for.

I'd like to see a beamshot of it

From the size of the emitter and size ratio with reflector, I would imagine it has a decent hotspot not overly large but definitely not a thrower, and that spill will be substantial. Am I wrong?

madecov will be stocking them soon, he also shared with me the msrp, map, and what he might sell them for depending on his costs/shipping etc - his price seems very fair - if you are interested you should pm him

let’s hope it can be easily modified to 4, or 5, or 6 amps J)

Looks good though (wish the site have photos on how its FLs’ beams light up). But I like the looks of that V21A FL in the site’s PRODUCT webpage.

Yes guys I have them on order and they should ship via air early next week. I also have coming the new V01A (AAA-10440)
It comes in 5 colors, has two output levels (3 lumen and 108 lumen) and I think it is a twisty with a pocket clip. It will be UNDER $20.00 and not by a penny

The 7G10 has a high MSRP & MAP but, I think I may do a coupon just for it to get it down to a reasonable level. I know this is the wrong forum but thought I would post a teaser.

Thanks for the news! I’ll probably be in for a V01A - but I wish they’d made one color safety orange!

1860 lumens for 135 mins? :open_mouth:

I'm in the midst of run time testing but the answer is no. At very initial turn on, it hit 1900 briefly before dropping after a few minutes to a semi-regulated state of ~1600lms. It'll then run in this state for ~45min before starting a gradual decline.

Thanks turboBB, thats very useful to know.

I noticed that first "high" mode, preset by manufacturer, is actually not highest that it can do! I don't know if it's 80-85-90% but it is not 100% and you can notice the difference if you ramp up second, so called "low" mode, until it blinks 3 times (signaling it's on max), then, when changing modes you can notice the difference...

7G10 is very nice light but Crelant, please, add one more mode also add mode memory for a god sake, or make it programmable by user :P

@Sirius9 - On my sample, even after a program cycle to High (max released after it blinks) it's only as bright as the preset High. It may very briefly hit 2K lms (on my PVC LMD) but in a matter of seconds will be back down around 1700lms range (tested on freshly charged cells). I also tested this on the "Low" mode as well and couldn't get it any higher than the factory "High" mode. As a matter of fact, after programming the Low to max output and then shutting off the light and turning it back on, there is absolutely no change in output when switching between High to Low.

interesting, maybe they done something differently with 7G10 (it is a totally new emitter so the driver had to be designed from scratch) but 7G5CS, UF-C20 (rebranded 7G3CS) and UF-T80 (rebranded V6CS) all have this behaviour...

Now available at FastTech for $99.35 (before forum discount) :open_mouth:

Must resist….

also all other Crelant models with thrue budget prices

WOW !!! Very good price.
Way to go FastTech and thanks PhatPhil.

Under $80 for the 7G9 v2 also, interesting, because this light is still parallel batteries so should be able to upgrade to a Nanjg over 4 amps if you want, like the original.

the 7g9 is a good choice for a driver swap, since it has no memory stock… i had one pushing 4.2amp and the huge host just sucked up all the heat

ran forever on the parallel config also… great throw too.

the prices at fasttech are killer
