According to Bill, the light is estimated to be available in May, but no exact date. He said freight will be cheaper if he sends all the lights to one address, but I declined that arrangement since a possible world-wide destinations would be a logistical nightmare. I have bought some lights from him (Doingoutdoor) and it’s been great so far.
I suggest all interested parties to contact him via his email address so all queries will be answered directly.
basically, if it can compete with a sr90 with a sbt70 and a tn31 with a dedomed xml2-u2….ill be in for one,
but if it wont be able to hang with those two lights mentioned, then ill pass.
Bill says 13.00 to my address for 2 ff4s but i will see what happens with the other group buy. I know people were receiving their ff3s from CN in 3-4 days from the main sales site. Wait and see how this plays out. Maybe Fasttech will start selling them too. Yeah that and the Fenix TK-75 with XM-L2.
lawallac, are you sure he can ship to US? It was mentioned that he cannot ship to the US, possibly due to sales territory conflicts. If this is not the case, then $13 shipping is not bad at all and that’s for two units.
I had asked before that was brought up. But I haven’t heard from lips yet anyways. His Gb has considerably more followers at this point but this. I know he has run gbs in the past for some great lights but I always took it as a benevolent gesture more than a capitalistic opportunity, mostly due to the work of routing packages and potential unhappy people. Maybe he is ok with everybody going to do a Gb with bill? We have lots of time still.
