The look nice, but then again….so have other lights. I was thinking about getting one, possibly to mod if there was enough room in the tube (even with a little light sanding) to squeeze 3 AA’s in there….
If anyone has one, and can comment on the quality and the inner tube diameter, that would be great!!
Hi Sprinkles, I was in a store 2 days ago that stocked PALIGHTS. The build quality was very nice and looks as good, perhaps better in hand compared to the picture. Held side by side against my Nitecore MT26 it was difficult to tell the quality apart. Beam profile seemed nice, although I only briefly flashed it. The only thing for me that let me down were the backs by the tail switch where silver metal is exposed, it isn’t exactly stainless steel, although some might like it. Overall, for the price I think you’ll like it, I’m still tempted to go back and buy one (amongst many others I just bought >) )
I'm actually rather interested in the zoomie aspheric version of it: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002124/1153401-palight-m900-cree-xm-l-u2-6-mode-900-lumen-white-z
Pass on the zoomie. Mine was rather disappointing.
It's underdriven, there is poor contact between the star and the host, and it's a disappointingly poor thrower. Not enough room for it to focus the light more.
i just translated the review. thanks for that. looks pretty bright in the beamshots but still cant go on that.
so how does it compare with the blf a8. which one is brighter, floodier, more throwy?
