BLF LED Database - Collaboration Spreadsheet - Share latest news about where to buy LEDs

Or they just licked a finger, pointed it up in the air and depending on the way the wind was blowing they decided upon BIN/TINT within the CW range. The other hand was probably used for crossing fingers and hoping for CW… :stuck_out_tongue:
I think its their way of deciding what specifications products will get. I also think their customer support work by that philosophy.
I personally don’t consider KD trustworthy of anything. Their customer support come with more false info than true based on my experience with them.

+1

When that is said. FT gets most of my money when it comes to emitters, just because of price. They seem to be fairly accurate when it comes to emitters.
TINT/BIN combo vs PRICE decides who gets my money…

XM-L2 on copper just turned up on DX. Im not sure about the dielectric layer.

Nice find Flashpilot. I added it.

This colorful XM-L and various others emitters have also been added…

Its a shame that LCK-LED did not have the XM-L2 in 3000K when I recently placed an order on various emitters. I would have bought one… If i buy more from them in the near future I will add one mounted on copper. Just to check it out…
All XM-Ls they sell can be mounted on 16/20mm copper star for 1$ extra.
I have added WW XM-L2 and done some price fixing/update to various stuff…

Also, various other small stuff have been added in the past be me an other users. Thanks to everybody who contribute!

Thanks for keeping the database up to date and tidy for everyone to use. Since it seems to keep getting messed up, perhaps you should consider locking it with a password and distributing that pswd to a select few… just a thought.

Thanks. If it becomes a problem I will consider. But so far, its seems more and more people are contributing.
Small stuff I easily fix. And the larger mess that have happened to some sheets looks to be some sort of “formatting error” or something. Thanks to Scaru I now know how to easily restore it.

Just that people post links to new emitters (and MCPCBs in this thread is helpful to the whole community.

Its nice to even see people (okay one guy, so far) from CPF joining in and seeing the value of the spreadsheet.

Nice Work! THANKS!

Dan.

Updated links/prices to the copper MCPCBs from intl-outdoor.

In the spreadsheet I also see that vestureofblood now sells 16mm Sinkpads… A nice option for US buyers who want fast shipping, or for buyers in general who needs 10mm copper boards.
Same good (shipping) price for international buyers too.

Updated prices for Kaidomain - $7.27 each now - not bad, but I got mixed results, some looked like 1A, others looked more like 1B or 1C.

Nice price for XM-L2 U2 (if they are U2s).
I updated the U2s from lightmalls. They are now down to 8,90, so not much lower than before… Cant compare with KD in terms of price.

For those who have been looking for a very cool white XM-L2.
XM-L T6 0D 7$ from cnqualitygoods.
http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1831

They also have other CW T6s in stock, but I cant be bothered to add them since several other stores have similar products at same prices.
I dont think that many people care for XM-L2 T6 CW? Unless its T6 0D and for de-doming purposes or something…

May be cheaper to buy from fancyflashlights (due to free shipping), but I was not able to access their site.

Try this link for FFL: http://www.fancyflashlights.com/category.php?id=7&price_min=0&price_max=0&page=2&sort=goods_id&order=DESC. They got probs, this should get you in. I've used the T6 0D's - yes, for de-doming...

Thanks…
6.9$ and free shipping
Changed previous links to that store.

Was recently a thread were a guy asked for 0D tint. Id guess there is some who are interested in that tint.

Tom E, for maximum throw and PERCEIVED brightness. What would you prefer out of these two?
De-domed XM-L2 U2 1A
De-domed XM-L2 T6 0D

Well, actually I made that choice and went with the U2 for the SS T08, but had both, so, still used a T6 0D in a resistor mod'ed SS T13, but the super T08 got the U2 de-domed and I think benefited the raw kcd numbers. Not apples to apples, but the T08 @4.5A got 210 kcd (about there?), and the T13 at 3.4A got 155 kcd.

Resulting tints are both strong neutral - don't think the T6 0D was as neutral, but that's a tough call because didn't have both mods available at the same time.

Update:
All the latest copper mounted LEDs from intl-outdoor, along with color XM-L (thanks islisis for adding it) and bare XP-G2 5A4 (about 4100K) are now added in the spreadsheet.

Good price too. Its basically free to get copper mounted LEDs.

Cutter has the U3-1C bin for the XM-L2 in stock, first time I’m seeing the U3 bin for an XM-L2. It’s not even in the Cree datasheets yet.

Sweet find MosesM!
Will you add it?

This is great news for the whole community. Especially for those who want maximum output! Maybe not so for all those who now feel the urge to change out their XM-L2 U2s, just to stay on the top… :stuck_out_tongue:
They even sell it for the same price as the U2. Not bad. Not that I will buy due to shipping. :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, I have just added the MT-G2 from intl-outdoor

Showing out of stock though , but this is exciting, but crap, just ordered a whole bunch of XM-L2 U2's...

It's possible they had none in stock, they maybe simply added it there as a teaser and it will show in stock in the next days/acouple of weeks.

Oops! Totally didn’t notice that it’s out of stock…what a tease… :stuck_out_tongue:

Anything could have happened, maybe anticipated delivery or 1 customer buying out their full inventory, who knows, could have happened with something hot like this.
