IS Promotions: Rayus C01 / PT10 Series Intro [8/28]

We don't charge for window browsing/bandwidth so feel free to drool over your keyboard all you want. However, we will not be responsible for water damage caused by excessive drool. Perhaps a friend of yours needs to be brought into the light ;)

Not blaming you, rather I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to order.

How quickly did they send out a second batch of the SC52's? If it's a matter of 1-2 weeks, the new armytek will tide me over :p

Zebralight restocks have taken anywhere from a week to 2 months at the worst. Our best prediction right now is leaning towards earlier.

Our first promotion of the Spring Cleaning sale is expiring soon. EC25/EC25W coupon code "EC25"

Any new sweet deals for us

Got any suggestions?

Mine arrive today! OMFG itā€™s so much brighter than my SC600w

LICK FOR HIGH RES!
(sorry for the mess, have a track day tomorrow so had to charge my cams and junk)

Love love love this light. Iā€™ll give it a try EDCā€™ing it but itā€™s quite a bit bigger than my current edc, the SK68

-Jamie M.

Can we see a comparison between the SK68, SC600 MkII and a SC52 (if you have one)

Thanks

You mean physical size, or beam shots?

I donā€™t own SC52, just SK68, SC600w and SC600 MKII

-Jamie M.

Size comparison would be good thanks. I see the SK68 in the background, kinda hard to compare though

Is this what you had in mind?

LICK FOR HIGH RES!

-Jamie M.

How low are the low modes? On the SC52 they are just ridiculous (by that I mean great :D).

I canā€™t get the SC600 MKII to go as low as my SC600w, but it could be a level/programming issue.

Iā€™m using a long press to turn on into low mode, double click to cycle between low and super retarded low. Same on both flash lights, the MKII is a lot brighter on itā€™s lowest mode. Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s cause my other SC600 is a w/warm one or not.

-Jamie M.

Itā€™s the same on my SC600 MKii vs. SC52. The SC52 low-low is like almost invisible. More of a ā€œglowā€. Hereā€™s a pic I just took, from right above both lights. SC52 on the right, obviously:

Yikes, thatā€™s as low as itā€™ll go? Youā€™re long pressing to turn on into low mode, then double clicking for the low low?

If that still doesnā€™t do it try this:
Long press to turn on into low mode.
Hold the button down and it will cycle between three modes, release the button when it gets to the dimmest setting.
Try double clicking and see if it goes dimmer. If double clicking goes brighter you were already in the lowest mode.

-Jamie M.

Jamie,

The UIā€™s are similar, and yes, I tried what you said (which was what I did before), and the SC600 MKii low-low is definitely not as low as the SC52s. Actually, to me, itā€™s more usable, but I know that some love the almost invisible SC52 low-low :).

BTW, I kind of blinded myself checking this out (always happens !

Me too, Iā€™m seeing spots when I blink, I didnā€™t think holding it down in low mode would cycle to a mode that bright! Whops

Iā€™ll do some ā€œdonā€™t wake the girlfriend bathroom walksā€ tonight with my SC600 MKII and see if it passes her ā€œhas to put electrical tape over the alarm clock display because it wakes her up when the numbers changeā€ test :frowning:

-Jamie M.

Well. Just remind yourself that you DID want a BRIGHT light :)ā€¦

The SC52 and SC600 Mk II have programmable M2 and L2 (previous models only had programmable H2). Set the light to low (either L1 or L2) and perform 6 double-clicks (12 clicks total). That will put you into programming mode for L2. Double-click to cycle through the available L2 levels. You should be able to get ridiculously low; maybe not quite as low as SC52, but it should be close. Turn the light off to finish programming L2.

Follow the same procedure to program H2 and M2.

Hi,

Is the default H2 the brightest? Or can you program the H2 to be brighter than the out-of-box H2? Obviously from my questions, Iā€™m more interested in the high than I am in the low-low :)ā€¦
