Full Test Data on 50 of Our Flashlights

What a great wealth of useful information in one list. Awesome thank you

Got that one fixed and reposted it back up. Hopefully there isn’t too many more goofs.

Mag XL200 has an XP-G. 2AA MagLED can have a Luxeon III, Rebel, or Cree XP-C. Going by your lumen measurements it appears it’s the XP-C version.

Thanks again for testing all of ’em. Must take a while.

Edit: how do you like the L10? How is the tint? Green? Bluish? I’m trying to find a reason why I shouldn’t buy one… :stuck_out_tongue:

We have to Tom E credit for that one. That dude knows how to get serious performance out of any light he touches. Interesting note about that is that C8 was bought from Lightmalls. And we have tried other variations of pills in it and other C8’s many times. And no matter what setup, that Lightmalls C8 host always outperforms any other host we’ve tried. And I’ll tell you - brother has about 8 more C8’s we didn’t post on this chart due to redundancy. It must have a really nice reflector or something. Even Tom E has come across the same thing.

Cool. Thanks for that info. Looks like we need to update our chart again.

This spreadsheet should be sticky’d and expanded to include as many popular lights as is possible. Fantastic work with this. I started a thread looking for a thrower between a HD2010 and the high end Fenix/Shocker/TN lights. This really helps quantify the output levels, and demonstrates the impact certain mods have. Well done.

We appreciate all of the time and work that went into this project .

Awesome chart! That ZY-T08 at 205kcd is very impressive! Not even dedomed? Wow! :open_mouth:

It’s impressive, but not THAT impressive - it is dedomed. Looks like we missed another one. I’ll get it and the mags updated ASAP.

Whoa! :open_mouth: Thanx for posting this chart. This is a great help in deciding my next flashlight.

I know its too much to ask but a lot of us BLF members will also appreciate it very much if we can see beam shots of ‘big’ lights.

That’s for sure in the plans. We’ve actually attempted to do some long distance shots the last two weekends, but the weather and our test equipment didn’t cooperate. We now have quite a group well over 100k, so doing shots that can really show their long throw starts getting a little trickier.
But they are coming.

I would call the tint slightly greenish. Not enough to really distract from the fact that it is a cool little light though. I tried an IMR 14500 in it but it got hot in the 30 seconds it took to test it. It put out about 300 lumens but we deemed it not safe so we didn’t bother including that mod in the chart.

Oh! That’s good to know. I’m looking forward to those beam shots. Thanx!

Awesome job, guys!

As others have said, this should be A STICKY !

Well done.

Keygos M10 so little lm? Underdriven?

I’m going to use this spreadsheet as my guide. Thanks for sharing.

superb job fella’s. i also think should be stickied.
thanks alot for doing this for us.

Wow, that is a lot work and data. Awesome!

Yes we were really disappointed with that too. And it was purchased directly from Keygos. Just a weak driver compared to the ke5.
