Noctigon XM16, XP16, XM20 and XP20 Copper Core PCBs.+ MT-G20 (Update)

Introducing the Noctigon brand.

With Noctigon XM16, XP16, XM20 and XP20 you will get:
-Direct thermal path, no dielectric layer under the thermal path pad
-Flat base (the boards are not bent up towards the edges and the copper has been sanded to eliminate grooves)
–2Oz copper weight (opposed to common 1Oz), lower resistance
-Wide traces, lower resistance
-Lager solder pads for leads (compared to 16mm Chinese boards especially)
-Pads clearance to fit most centering gaskets on the market
-Gold plated copper for long shelf life, easy degreasing, oxidation protection and high resistance against corrosive environment.

Noctigon is a brand fully designed by us which proposes to bring innovative hardworks to the market.

Here’s a photo with the quality control: (Those markers with black have not passed QC.)

Great! Glad to see these coming available! Thanks Hank!

That's a pretty high fail rate IMO. May I ask why those particular ones failed QC? From your pic they look the same as the ones that passed.

Any chance these will be available to ship out prior to May 15th? If so I'll get my order in now.

where to buy?

thanks!

See the link in Hank's post.

oops! haha… thanks! I got so drawn by the images that I missed it… :stuck_out_tongue:

Please please PLEASE look into getting something similar made for the monster Cree MT-G2 (and stocking the MT-G2 itself)! There's not even a copper SinkPAD for the MT-G2 (they only have an aluminum version), and currently Cutter in Australia is the only source for the LEDs. Hey, it never hurts to ask, right? :p

Yeh, you’re always welcome to ask.
The MT-G2 copper MCPCB will be available by next week.
The MT-G2 emitters will be available within this month.

Thanks!

Hank

Hi Hank,
Will you haven these with emitters like xml2, xpg2 and xpe2?
Thanks

Very soon, within this week.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot Hank,

Will be ordering some once available.

This is great news.

Really good news.

Hank, we also need drivers with beautiful modes to drive these leds at 5000 mA

PLEASE stop posting up all this great stuff Hank! Im going to go completely broke!!! |( |(

Please Post a Link for those who don’t know it, Thanks…

:expressionless: Yes, the Roller Coaster Life of a Flashaholic …. all just to be a little Brighter J)

Eat less, buy more LEDs. Easy, really.

MUAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA

I'm picturing a C8 style light with a ramping driver that goes from .01 lumens to HOLY MOTHER OF -WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING !!!!!!

You still need to find a ramping driver that can boost 3.7V to 6V. :P

Or get a C8 extension for a second cell (using an 2-cell driver).
