Yes it is true, feel free to browse to their site and see for yourself; in-fact when used with the forum discount code it is even cheaper yet……just saying there is no need for USA customers to have to wait several weeks for this item to arrive, when it can be had domestically within days. Of-course if someone still wants to over it from over seas no problem, I’m just pointing out the obvious.

Does the absence of a serial number indicate a counterfeit?
I have received chargers from FastTech, and Illumination Supply both. Some have a serial number, some do not.
Except for one, all seem to be working fine.
The prices of Illumination Supply are crazy. I have never seen it so cheap.
Bill, you will have a small problem, because most people here in the forum are not shop owners who sell chargers and batteries in a bigger way. Maybe some users will buy 2 or 3, but more?

Absolutely correct, while I think it was very stupid of Nitecore to do this, as it will only open up the flood gates for scammers, it is what it is; my suggestion would be to purchase from a Authorized Nitecore Dealer and not from the Gray Market.
I just ordered an I4 from FastTech yesterday. Hope it’s a genuine Nitecore.

we know very well about the rates, no need to inform me about rates, and know how much profite he can get , and i am not going to put a real buttom rates here

2 About the serial number .
there was serial numbers on each item before, but now, no serial number at chargers since spring festival till now. for the factory too busy.
it means , Chargers with serial number had been stocked for a little while (more than 3 month), it’s ok to stock , no problem.
3 Genuine or Fake
as i know, no fakes find in the market. if somebody find , please take a picture here, i will sent the information of fake brand charger to the factory in Guangzhou, China. hope all keep a eye in the market.
about the quality, all the users know the performance and will give a reasonable comments

I don’t know why you think you are being treated unfairly?? We are only posting the obvious.
I think perhaps you don’t understand that this Forum is mostly a Users forum, true dealers do sell on here BUT for the most part dealers don’t come on here looking to buy product from a 3rd party to turn around and sell back to the Users here, doesn’t make much sense.
Why would an Authorized Nitecore Dealer buy from you a 3rd party?? that would be a Gray Market product and nobody would trust it and/or the price would have to be a killer low on.
So I very seriously doubt a Authorized Nitecore Dealer would buy from you, that’s doesn’t mean we are being un-freindly towards you, it’s called Business; it makes no business sense to do so.
Speaking for myself, I will always choose a Domestic Dealer first, then based upon if I can’t find it locally or the price is out-of-line for what I want to spend on that item I will look overseas. I would NEVER pay the same price in China/HK/SG for an item available domestically, that is just a plain rip off.
I rarely have a need for cases of items, yes I do routinely buy multiple items that I have tried one of and then bought more, but not a case.
If you don’t want to post publicly your “bottom line” price, then the question begs to be asked. What are you doing on here?? this is the BUDGET Light Forum. :bigsmile:

Hi Bill, I don’t think it is personal. There are rules for dealers who want to sell here. Those that spam or shill leave a poor impression on the community. Also, this forum is mostly end-users rather than resellers, so you can appreciate we all want the best price possible.
