Yep, im lazy to sand the bezel all the way flat and i tot this look nice either way.

That gets rid of the sharp part of the bezel and still lets light through if it is head down on a table, so that's a good solution.
That's my motto; "Work lazier, not harder".
Holy cow, that's actually beautiful!! I like that so much better than the smooth "Foyzel" (sorry Foy). The contrast of the black anodization and the polished aluminum is sexy and looks high-tech while still allowing it you to see if the light is on while face down. I will be doing that to a couple of my lights this weekend, maybe even tonight!
Yep .
I actually did the same thing, got lazy and left it half foybezeled. Polished up nicely too.
L2i
Thats the old Jacktheclipper mod that started all the madness.
And I just got lyrical: "always take just half a task, if labor is supposed to last"
...kinda crude, eh?
Considering the Foyzel attempt - very nice work, indeed. Like I always say - obnoxiously sharp bezels are blank canvas, designed to be designed by you.
an ashtray?
LOL!
I was gonna say, I'm not the pioneer on this one. The whole bezel thing started when I saw Jacks sand L2 that he took down just like that - maybe not as far.
Foy
I like a full foy
I don't like the ashtray look ...Butt I understand lazy
gonna butt-foy my solarforce soon...
Half foyerised?
The contrast between the alu edges and the black in the recesses is very ncie indeed :)
50% Foyed?
I believe the technically correct term is 'SemiFoyed'.
They look awesome. If I have a little bit more time, I will try it.
I did it to my 501B and I really like it. Spices it up nicely. Then I picked up my Romisen RC-29 and realized the bezel on the Romisen was already done like that from the factory.
