You’d have to run a 16340, once fasttech has the 18650 hosts back in stock, you could still build an xm-l edc and fall under the $11 limit.

My fav is my $9 Ultrafire C8 - small enough to go in my pocket at work but bright enough to inspect the undercarriage of cars even in opposing backlight.

for under 11 you cant go wrong with this

actual otf lumens is closer to 350-375, but still, its decently driven and has enough cooling to actually use it as a handy pocket light without cooking your hand.

If you do not mind 5 modes…

I find it quite durable and value for money…

My favorite ultralow budget (2.45$ shipped) AAA light is this one:
http://www.buyincoins.com/new_en/details/led-torch-mini-flashlight-lamp-aaa-battery-3w-product-920.html

It’s a compact twisty with shitty but working clip, nice design (in my opinion) and relatively good output (outshines all other low price lights from this budget class). Around 10-15lm output, nice “throw” but with rings (since very symmetrical they don’t bother me). NW tint.

Got my ultrafire hd2011 for under ten I think during some promotional buy last year. When I need flood instead of throw, its the light I reach for.

INTERESTING LIGHT…………Do you know the run time ?

I like it……how bright with a eneloop?

Oh and I forgot my all time budget favorite:

Very, very nice CN ebayer, has to be said!!

(Sipik 68 clone, good quality, 3 modes)

roughly 4+ hours with a fenix protected 2600mah 18650, though it gets too hot to hold after about 15 minutes indoors. had it in front of a fan to test runtime, as I always do with a new light. should be considerably longer with panasonic 3400’s. I usually test with the fenix cell first as its protected, and proven itself to be a ‘true’ 2600 mah cell.

Anyone see a pattern?

It looks like BLF is being overrun by Aurabuy shills.

I just got this light the other day. Not bad for an $8 light. Reflector is deep and smooth. It’s got a definitive hotspot with lots of spill around it. Reverse clicky switch. Only thing bad is that it’s next mode memory.

[UltraFire C8 CREE T6 5 Modes 1300LM Deep Reflector LED Flashlight $8.88USD](http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-UltraFire-C8-CREE-T6-5-Modes-1300LM-Waterproof-Deep-Reflector-LED-Flashlight-p-49450.html(use) coupon code BLF for 10% off to make it $7.99USD)

Aurabuy shills are rampant all over the threads

The EDI-T 11 cr123 is cute! Does it have other colors besides black?

Thanks for pointing this out. I blocked the accounts of all of those shills that had the same IP address range (they were using an anonymous proxy). There was no IP address record for the others, but if they come back they will be deleted again.

Definitely my favorite zoomie by far!

How good is the stock light?

I love these little keychain lights http://www.fasttech.com/products/1604/10000369/1058600-22000mcd-white-light-led-flashlight-keychains-wh
they make great gifts

Hi bdiddle,

Can you add any more info on that 612 light? Runtime estimate, general build quality?
Thanks
