My new keychain light...

I can't wait until dark!

LOL! Going to need bigger pockets :)

Dang man. I'm jealous. That light is a little out of my price range.

Yes, mine too. But I wanted it badly, so I made some sacrifices. Nice light, but the emitter is way off center and there is no way to disassemble the head, so I hope it does not affect the beam. I'll check it out tonight.

For all the money they charge for their lights, you'd think they could've hired a guy who wasn't cross eyed to center the emitter, or at least designed the thing so that human perfection isn't necessary to do it.

That's a shame! In such an expensive flashlight, an off center LED is not acceptable for me. I would send it back.

I bet it is actually the reflector that is off center, not the emitter. I've noticed in a couple of my lights when I tighten down the bezel, it slides to one side or the other.

I'm jealous too but if there is anything wrong with the beam whatsoever--I would send it back also. That's just unacceptable for a Fenix brand light (I have several and love them all) and especially one that costs an arm and a leg.

i literally laughed out loud when i saw the picture. :)

Oh man troop . . . how would it be to have that bad boy come in the mail. Let us know how you like it.

Foy

Foy, I'd love to see head-to-head beamshots with the TK41 and your 980L.

The TK takes $20 worth of AA eneloops just to load it up...nice light though, it is like holding something the size of the light that you have in your avatar.

Dang TK41 gave me a bunch of bruises on my right knee from driving with it attached to my keys...

Yeah well, the TK41 is a mighty fine torch my friend. Bet it doesn't get as hot either. I'm trying to remember - is it rated at 900 lumens? I would be real curious about reflector dimmensions and how many amps that bad boy is pulling. We could get a rough idea how it stacks up from that. Just remember; once you buy the rechargeables, it doesn't cost anything to run that light. (or very little)

Foy, it has four power modes; Lo, Med, High, and Turbo. It is rated at 335 Lumens on High and 800 on Turbo. I don't know how to get a measurement on how much power it draws, because both the + and - contacts are at the top of the battery pack agains a very large pill, about the size of a silver dollar.

I can tell you this. I took the TK41 and my most powerful XM-L (Ultrafire Th-T60, rated at 1000L, fresh HiMax 2600 in it) outside tonight. On High setting, the TK is slightly brighter but with a little bit smaller hotspot than the Th-T60. On Turbo mode the TK blows it away. It easily has twice the throw of the Ultrafire. The reflector diameter is about 52mm on the TK

I'm getting a pretty good hotspot on my TK, but not really well defined, maybe because my emitter is off center. Still is the best thrower I have by a factor of at least 2. Quite a lot of useable spill as well, that surprised me.

52mm is pretty dang big. I gotta say; I think the TK41 looks as awesome as I imagine it performs. I'm still trying to figure out how to logically explain the need for a Solarforce M8/M6 combo purchase to my wife. I don't want either one of these lights . . .

. . . I want them both, I want them together and I want them now.

You must see this positive. You addiction to solarforce will end when you have got all of them, and in twenty-five years your collection will worth then times more than you payed for them.

If that's your keychain flashlight light i would like to see your other pocket items. :)

Maybe you have to buy bigger Key for the car...

I'll wait for some night-shot.

jeez with that in your pocket the ladies are gonna think naughty things ;)

It's great and convenience. When you get home in night, you can take LED Keychains to find key, but you get it by high price. I have a lower price in a shop online. Do you want to know it?
