Anyone buy and receive a FandyFire STL-V6 from Wallbuys?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else here has bought and received a FandyFire STL-V6 from Wallbuys recently, especially from their Instant Kill sales?

If so, please let me know?

Hi, I just got a FandyFire STL-V6 (from Wallbuys) late last week, and while it seems that this is an older light, I had great expectations for it as far as throw and lux. I had posted in an older thread about it, but I thought that I’d start a newer thread to try to address primarily the performance problem. There is a “functional” oddity with the STL-V6 that I got, i.e., I can’t get it to switch into the 3-mode group, and between that and the disappointing lux numbers, I’m starting to suspect…

So far, RaceR86 has indicated that he got his from Wallbuys recently, and I’m assuming that was from an Instant Kill, but I’m wondering if anyone else got one from them, either from an Instant Kill or otherwise, and:

- Does it have mode groups (does tightening the flashlight head make the light have 3 modes)?

• How is the light performance (esp. lux measurement, if possible)?

Edit: It appears that they’ve updated/modified their web page, just recently, and have eliminated info about the 2 mode groups. It was there previously :(…

I received a FandyFire STL-V6 from Wallbuys Instant Kill they had on 17 May for 18.88.

It does not have 2-mode group that was advertised, just 5 mode.
Measured 1.4 Amps at the tail with new Panasonic NCR18650A batteries.
Light performance is decent but less output compared to a modified Small Sun ZY-T13 with a XM-L U2 at 3.1 Amps

I was alittle disappointed at first but I think I can live with it as is for now. I will swap out the emitter and maybe change the driver in the future.

I would suggest returning it back for replacement!
