Help needed (eneloop related)

Hey guys!

I was looking for a good charger and some eneloops when i stumbled upon this site.

http://www.nkon.nl/sanyo-eneloop-aa-aaa-batteries.html

http://www.nkon.nl/maha-powerex-sanyo-eneloop-chargers.html

The la crosse BC700 (on the site it's referred to as RS700) and all models of eneloops are A LOT cheaper here then any other shop in my neighbourhood (i'm from belgium)

Thats why i wonder if they might be fake... altough the pictures do represent the real ones with the right code on them..

Help wanted!!

I bought a Maha C-9000 from them last year as they had the best price incl delivery to Sweden.

Professional service, no problems at all.

I did not order any batteries but I think you can trust them.

Buy them. If they are fake take them back, but I doubt they are fake.

I've heard the La Crosse charger is one to avoid. Why not just get the Sanyo charger?

There have been some melting problems with the 900serie but these were solved with the 700 serie.
The maha c9000 is too complicated and the sanyo too simple :d

I've been doing a lot of research on NiMH chargers too. (i need one :)) Anyway, the BC-9009 has a tendancy to melt down it seems, many people use it successfully for a long time with no problems, while others have it melt down in just days. The newest revision is supposed to fix the problem, but i cannot find anywhere that guarantees you will receive the newest model. The c-9000 seems like a great alternative, but it is expensive, so i am reluctant to drop the coin. If anyone on here has personal experience with a charger that discharges, charges and refreshes, please help us make a good decision! I trust BLFers opinions more than any review site/amazon!!!

I will probably just end up buying the lacrosse bc-700 as, like OP said, it seems like they have fixed all the issues with this one. Does anyone here actually own one and have an opinion?

Thanks in advance!

The chargers are no fakes, nkon.nl is ok (some Belgiumdigital members have bought a Maha MH-C9000 there).

My Maha MH-C9000 comes from http://www.eleshop.nl/maha-c9000-p-242.html .

On the Belgiumdigital forum there is a thread with more info about the Maha (duch, not in english) http://forum.belgiumdigital.com/f36/powerex-mh-c9000-for-dummies-271021.html

(I am "Black Bandit" on the Belgiumdigital forum.)

I own BC-700. Never had problems and I charge AA and AAA - eneloops, recyko and "generic store brand" batteries, even Chinese BTY - which reminds me - AVOID them like plague, AA version are like 300 or 400 mAh, perhaps even NiCad .

I can analyze my sets of batteries and find "rotten" apples and can exactly see what condition they are in, that is why I bought this charger and although I still have "brand fast/slow chargers" I don't use them anymore.

Only thing that I don't like is that when you are charging 4 x AA at for example 700 mAh, the middle two batteries can get quite hot, because there is not enough space between batteries.

And of course, standard safety logic still applies. Don't charge on paper surface, always keep one eye on charger when charging, especially if it misses delta V termination. etc.

Bedankt voor voor de raad! ;)
