Mine did......i also was using 3.2volts lico cells as well with no problems at all.

Anyone found out?

I just posted it, it does work at least with my sample, 3.2volt lico's and 3.7volt litiums.Sealed

I was asking about lumens and runtime?

Sorry gotcha.......cant do one since both my stepkids took there lights to there fathers house. I guess its a good time to get more.

It's been 3+ weeks and a dozen or more emails and Golden Gadgets hasn't contacted me. They emailed me in the beginning and after about a week they stopped. They owe me $10 and I know that's not a lot but it still bugs the crap out of me. I am very loyal when it comes to retail and online stores but as soon as I get screwed even once, that's it. So until Golden Gadgets fixes things with me, they can go F**K themselves until then. |(

I apologize for the rant but I had to get it out and let people know so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Hey buddy have you tried calling them, i know there office is somewhere in California.

I don't see the point if they won't respond to any of my emails. It's not like they don't know of the problem because they did respond twice at first but then just stopped. No emails, no nothing for 3+ weeks now. I guess mentioning that I would prefer a refund scared them off. I'll just chalk it up as a loss and never buy from them again.

After reading about fishinfool’s bad experience I sent them a couple of emails on Friday asking if the rubber flashlights were still available from their suppliers.
I received a generic reply but today I got an email saying that the order I made on the 9th has now been shipped.
I have my fingers crossed that this means both of us will have our flashlights soon.

I imagine that their suppliers often play dirt tricks on them, so they tend to pass on the bad experience to their customers. Most of them don't have any stock. Although I read on Focalprice's forums that they just moved to a bigger warehouse, which makes me thing they keep some stuff in stock.

It looks great but after getting treated like crap by GoldenGadgets.com, I will never order from them again unless they make things right. It's been almost 2 months now and still nothing. GoldenGadgets.com is a worthless company to deal with and the sad thing is that it was because they owed me a measly $10. Pretty sad right?

Sorry they haven’t resolved your problem yet but my ‘Rubber 1-Watt Pocket LED Flashlights’ arrived today.
I was hoping for some highly visible (body colour) lights that could handle a small drop without being damaged or damaging what they were dropped on, not bothered about them being particularly powerful.
Maybe I was expecting too much considering the cheap price but I think Golden Gadgets describing them as rubber is stretching the truth a bit.
They are more like hard plastic with a peach skin finish and it does not feel like they will take much abuse before cracking.
The yellow colour is bright enough but the red bodied ones are quite a dark red so not as high-vis.
As other posters have said perhaps more for the kids.

Cheers,

Gary

I have the Romi version single mode and like it a lot......small compact and the clip is durable and stays on a thick belt.

I have a few of those Rubber 1-Watt Pocket LED Flashlight and just gave them to my niece and nephews and they absoluely love them. One thing you don't want to do is to tighten it too much because the threads on one of mine broke-off from the body when I did it. I fixed it with superglue but it's not the same.

I had a problem with them awhile back and was very frustrated by there poor response to trouble tickets and them making false promises that they don't keep. I did finally get satisfaction though by using the live chat feature. I would advise you to use the live chat as opposed to email or trouble tickets. Good luck

I got so frustrated that I've given on them. They can keep the $10 as customer severance pay. I just won't buy anything from them anymore. There's so many other e-stores out there that I can pick and choose who I want to buy from. But most of the time I wait until I read about them here on BLF before I even think about buying. My recent order from Popbuying.com came in a little over 1 week so I'll be a loyal customer to them.

With me i just called........made it easier to just talk to a real person.

I have no more patience left for GoldenGadgets.RIP-OFF.

Alright, alright, calm down man--no need to take my head off. lol
