I find it easier to just hit myself upside the head before ordering as well as when ordering ... either way it's the wrong choice ..
If i was on deal or no deal ...without choosing ..i'd get the ... no deal ...ah too bad try again next time 
If every (in the US?) got the c8, then we can stiill get it for $15 - coupon which is still a good deal. Can everyone who got one pipe up?

I was asking if everyone got the c8 or what, because it's a good deal at the normal price.
I bought the daily deal and ended up with a C8 - very nice light for $11...pretty tight thrower with some usable spill.
The light arrived today in the mail which was a nice surprise because I had totally forgotten about it.
It's very nicely built with good machining, clean threads and the wall of the body is rather thick. The lens had some finger print coating on it, but the reflector luckily is clean. It's five mode w/ mem, and the SOS spells SOO (won't stay so for long). The pill is the modding friendliest I have come across so far with a retaining ring for the driver. The beam is pencil tight, should throw well even with a XP-G I intend to put in. Trustfire flames fit well in, the XTAR 2600 is very tight.
Unfortunately I cannot really test this light because it's not getting real dark anymore this time of the year where I live. The big emitter in the sky is only entering moon-mode for some time around 01:00. :(
I have only one regret regarding this light: Why have I only ordered one?
I've also got it today. Nice body and quite good throw. Driver doesn't have memory and SOS is SOO as Huny74 said already. It is also looking good to be moded to XM-L or so.
Same regret as Huny74 - I should buy more for that price.
I got the g4mcu. Its a tiny led- xre. Needs an xm-l.

I think that regardless of this deal, if we vote enough times for flashlights they'll put more flashlights in the daily deals, which is good for us. :)

That's funny, I emailed them two days ago and asked them to consider putting more flashlights as their daily deal. Got a reply from them yesterday thanking me for contacting them and today there is a flashlight up for vote? Hmm...you welcome? LOL!
This is so tempting but I'm still not sure it's a great deal what with a Q5 in it. Add in another $12-$16 to upgrade the driver and emitter to XM-L and the cost is up to $27. Hmmm... someone convince me please that this is still a good buy so I don't possibly regret not getting one.
if you can get an xml pill for around $10 it would be a good deal otherwise you may as well by a c8 xml.
The plus is that after modding to XM-L you still have Q5 and driver for it (worth about let say 7$). If you think that way goodloking XM-L flashlight costs you about 20$. You can put leftovers into some ultrabudget host and get more decent light out of it.
