The power is here!!!!

I am sure the drop in for the trustfire tr1200 body will be available soon. Good find though! I am not liking that battery set up though lol

....to blow up the "Mines bigger than yours" brigade.

I can think of a couple of members here that will be ordering that ASAP. LOL!

Johnny (wish I was one of them) Mac

I'll pass.

Dislike the battery setup and the performance/heatsinking/bomb ratio.

I would prefer a parallel setup either.

I'd rather have a big fat light rather than a long thin one....

Heatsink issues.... battery is also ugly, but the problem is heatsinking!! my 15 Watt SST-50 torches are scary to use, and those are specially designed with the emitter and star sitting on the heatsink piece, not drop-ins.

Impractical as it may be, I would rather have 3x single 18650 torches.

But regardless. its cool to see a triple XM-L! :)

I like the legobility and the triple T6 is the bomb (pun sota intended) but I can't get past the looks. Do I still want it?

kindaFoy

Pulled the trigger

Intend to buy another powerlight (trustfire X6), but change my mind and going for the triple XM-L T6 (like the colorbeam T6)

Shipping to Belgium (Europe) is very cheap (9.9 USD), makes total of 52.15 USD

That would be awesome, got a TR1200- 5x Q5 WC

thommy - I will be very interested to hear what you have to say about this light. If you only knew how close I came to ordering . . .

If I hadn't already shot off my mouth with JohnnyMac and his F15 . . .

Foy

No problem, post it when it arrives.

Hopefully this is also a hot-shot like the UF-980L

Gotta cool down, just ordered also a (non budget) Spark ST6-500 CW headlamp

Do let me know about that one - I've been sorta, kinda looking at those as the replacement assistant will be a lot more energetic than it's predecessor so I might well want something like that till I get the pup trained.

(Ain't happening soon as I'm waiting for Foxwood to breed some more.

They'd sold all the pups from the last litter (At $1600 a time). they sent me a video of the current litter - I wanted all 11 of them. Problem is my house isn't big enough. Come to that, my local park isn't big enough.)

So, Don; it's going to happen soon . . . getting a new assistant?

Foy

Not all that soon - Foxwood don't breed all that often. I'm on the list for their next litter. Giants tend to have large litters - 11 pups is normal. I've seen the video of the current litter and I want all 11 of them. At about 40% of what I get paid a year....

Not only is my house not big enough, my local park isn't big enough!

And I want another Foxwood - Fizz was Foxwood Carpe Diem.

What I want is Foxwood Carpe Jugulum.

;)

So . . . a little more aggression this time it seems.

Foy

Within limits.

The limits to be defined by training.

Going for a dog rather than a bitch this time - Fizz was a "rescue" dog from a breeder that had decided to downsize from giant schnauzers to papillons and border terriers.

Where she came from.

ROFL! Foy, you can only shoot your mouth off one light at a time! You had better hope that nothing ever meets or beats your 980L the way you evangelize it. :stuck_out_tongue:

No problem Don,

I understand that we use for this purpose the best equipment.

I also ordered thisone for my daily walk with my best friend Gypsy (Border Collie)

Congrats, glad to know that you are going for a new assistent

It cannot replace the one you had for many years, but it helps you to get over it and after a matter of time you gonna love your new friend.

It took me 2 years to get over the lost of Lady (King Charles Cavalier), but now Gypsy is almost more than 1 year with us, I am realy happy to have back a best friend.

I have a visiting hound just now.

Sonny!

The manic Cocker Spaniel. The soundtrack is from his owner 20 years ago when he worked for me.
