Emergency Situation.

in emergency situation always pick AA battery flashlight

My “Go Bag” next to my bed has: AA tank007 566 single mode xpg, cr123a thrunite neutron1c xml, cr123/18650 solarforce L2T with 5mode 4c xml p60, and my XinTD v3 C8…. Some of all the above batteries, plus some AAAs… and other goodies of course.

Why settle for one or two lights??

Tank007 is simple, cheap, almost dispoable, possible loaner to less prepared. Neutron has a nice UI in a small package. Could funtion in tactical role indoors. Have rings to mount it on my pistols in the event my primary weapon light fails. L2T has good modes and could be good CQB light. (If I had the chance, I would throw as many of my p60 drop ins in the bag as I could grab!) XinTD could cover moderate searchlight duties, but still pocketable.

Would probably grab my EA4w too. Can never have enough lights! Good all purpose light & lantern, good emergency power source, very pocketable.

Ok… I broke the rules… so… If I was traveling ultralight/ultrafast the ea4w + ZL sc80w would probably get grabbed. Sc80 has superlows and takes AA or cr123.

Floods really sucks as fu, in São Paulo its common become under the water each heavy rain, but the worst part it’s impossible to solve by disordened grow of city |(

It’s sad to think how these people loss their furnishings and other belongings :_(

never even seen that model ZL before... my two fav cells usable in one light, though i think i would go with a SWM for that price even though it would need the extender

Can’t really go wrong with SWM or ZL. Both are very nice.

The sc80 was never super popular. I think partly because its a little fat for a AA, and long for a cr123 light.

There are smaller EDCs… But the benefit for that trade-off is that no additional extender piece is required (which may get lost). ZL made a clever little brass insert to enable either cell. Its a neat design.

The sc80W is the neutral version with a nice 4200k tint. Xpg is a little outdated now. I hope they make an xpg2 version (instead of xml).

Definitely praying for those dealing with floods and severe weather. Fires are still raging out west… fortunately mostly in unpopulated areas. Shit is popping off! Unfortunately, I see it getting worse in the future. :frowning:

I would grab a my BLF A8 and my 3T6 along with some spare batteries…and the extra tube for the 3T6 which makes is usable with 6AAs…
These are the lights I have always loaded fully and waiting for their use.(along with a 9T6)

With the fenix diffuser wand(slightly grinded) the A8 makes a superb lantern with really long runtimes and the 3T6 is the best light existing…

I think the problem often is that people want to grab too much and heavy lights.

That’s awful lot of water — and in such short time!

It was on the news yesterday, most the news is covering Calgary, high river and other southern cities. I don’t think we will get it that bad but you never know. We are 3 hours north by highway but at a lower elevation

Is the fume from Crayola safe?

probably not lol

That pic is awesome though

i tried it with a no brand crayon, it burned great until it got to the wrapper. but the wrapper was a different material than the crayola... my daughter has an obsession that crayons can not have the wrapper on them, so i have no crayolas to try

No daddy no !!!!

I think Hitler started out burning artsupplies too

That’s hillarious

Probably my PA40 and a toss up between the Saber or Archer.

I choose my 2 oldest lights, a pair of Eternalight Classic. Runs forever on Lithium AAs. Dimmable, with great strobe, SOS & Morse modes. Utterly reliable pocket lights.

And my 2 newest lights, a pair Ruinovo 102. Mobile USB power pack with dimmable LEDs (about 120 lumen max). Runs on 2x18650s, so moonlight mode should last quite a while. Also doubles as my cellphone charger.

prob my mag with 2x 6000 mah feilongs - it runs for days on low and is a good size to carry

after grabbing my light i would grab some TP

you never know when youre going to need toilet paper

Thats what socks are for!!

Maybe wind some meters TP around a flashlight and maybe some meters of duct tape and para cord…so one grab and everything by hand….
