Armytek.com: General Information and Questions

Why you are using only dhl for shipping?

This is not good for us who are living in Europe.

I will have to pay double money in order to get the package from my country customs.

Thanks for the info Armytek.

same for us here in Canada :frowning:

+1

Same in Poland. I had to pay 25$ for 99$ flashlight for the customs. That sucks.
It was first and last time I bought flashlight sent via DHL.
Why can’t you send other way like most companies from China or lower value on invoice?
Think about it Armytek.
Mike

Yeah, waiting to see some reviews of these lights. I could do a video or photo review if needed.

Same in Greece.

When are the Tiara Pro A1 and C1 projected to be available? I’m looking to pick one up with the Neutral option…

I had to order from HKE simply for that reason. Registered free shipping. I’ve always liked their service.

When you place an order, you can note the delivery you prefer.
Also you can send us a message using the form “contact us” http://www.armytek.com/contact/contact-us.html
and ask before a purchase.

Your Wizard Pro headlamp looks amazing. It's probably perfect for most headlamp users, but I have two requests that will make it irresistible for me when backpacking season arrives.

A 0.1 lumen or lower low. That's most important. I hate too much light when I wake up in the middle of the night in a tent or bivy.

I'd love to test the beam angle on the trail. Super bright lights are wasted when they over light the side of the trail, which limits the ability to see further. A narrower beam angle keeps the light on the trail where it's needed. The review on CPF had pictures on a wide trail, but it's usually much narrower where I hike. Barring the ability to try one out, I'd request a narrower beam angle.

Both of these should make it the perfect long distance backpacking light for me. One other light came close, but they didn't care to address battery fitment issues like Armytek has.

Good promotion, Armytek! Thank you

Also waiting for reviews of your Wizard headlamps

Really like the look of that Viking but $30 is too much for shipping and then a customs charge on top of it.

Maybe try this from just up above. Things coming in via HKPost might stand a better chance of avoiding customs, shipping should be less too.

DHL, FedEx and UPS are all thats offered and I seem to have to pay the $30 to complete the order.

I'm not sure they offer anything besides those three.

I wish they stocked some of their products at their 'head office', the shipping would be way less.

Odd, Although, they did say to contact them before ordering to discuss shipping options. There could be another option they have chosen to not list.

they may have made a deal with the devil J)

Maybe; three devils?
I chose to order through HKEquipment for the Wizard Pro headlight. Ships HKPost. Not sure if they have the Viking.
Oh, Viking… I ordered one from IS, the V2 model (a ‘meager’ XM-L) for $49.95 on clearance. I will not miss the 100 or so extra lumens that an XM-L2 gives it. Just another option for you.

step stabilization or fully stabilized?
