And

EVERYONE HATES a squeaky wheel ....

I placed an order 10th of June, it arrived today via Singapore post.
I ordered a Sunwayman D40A just before the MAP issue raised the price. They promised to ship within three business, but since it was back ordered they shipped it 19th of June. Since then the package has been sleeping at Singapore post until it suddenly arrived today. I have better experience with HK post. The sad thing is that at the same time I placed the order, I raised a ticket asking to ship it with HK post. They replied that they had blacklisted SGP on my account. Even though they did that the parcel was shipped with SGP due to some failure with their mail system. Hopefully my next order will default to HK post. Regarding experience with different mail services. I don’t know how many packages I have received last years from HKpost or CNpost. None have got stuck in the customs. A couple of weeks ago my first package got stuck at the customs, and that package was sent via Singapore post. Maybe a coincidence? Or maybe the customs are more interested in packages from Singapore than China? What’s your experience on that matter?

last order of mine was placed 6/28 and it arrived in the states today so ill get it in 1-2 days

Holiday tomorrow.

i dont think i have yet received an order less than 10 days of order date from fasttech yet. once it hits the states its usually another 5 days wait for me

That's normal USPS transit time from CA to ME, even for a normal letter. It's 4-5 days from CA to me here in MS usually, and I'm a lot closer. Hell, it takes 3 days for me to send a letter to my neighbor across the street, since their nearest 'sorting center' is 90 miles away.

The issue is that SingPost holds the packages for 2-3 weeks before sending them on to the U.S., something HKPost somehow manages to always do within 24 hours.

I have one order (not from FT) that was supposedly left HKPO on 14 jun, still didn’t arrive and its not only me, other guys from my country also are waiting packages shipped via HKPO more than 3 weeks, last status is: The item left Hong Kong for its destination
My last package shipped via SGPO was delivered in about 2 weeks…

I opened a ticket and asked FT to send my package HKP…they said they would…surprised surprise…it sent Sing post…now it’s twice the delivery times…not happy at all…

They are creating serious waves in the e-cig world with their pricing - you thought NiteCore gate was nasty, Innokin really threw the rattle out of the pram. They are selling metric bum burgers worth of e-cig kit now and the service has slipped of late due to the increased load.

You’ve probably seen this before, but wow, look at this bold statement!!

yep I am an ecig user and on the forums etc…they got innokin products from a different source so were able to sell them pretty low…my latest package they sent sing post was an innokin product…really good price on some of the stuff…

Wow, so much criticism for doing us a favor...

Insert <I don't want to live in this world anymore meme> here.

whothewhatnow?

If you're talking about switching from HKPost to SingPost with no notice, it's not a favor if it triples the shipping time. Some places on the planet may get faster service through SingPost, and of course, they should use whatever's fastest depending on the destination whenever possible. I have no problem with them using SingPost for places where it's quicker than HKPost. My issue is when they make a change that takes the one week transit time and turns it into three weeks.

edit: oh great. Somebody didn't close the <i> tag and now everything below that is in italics.

edit2: LOL fixed xD

Yeah, I was focusing on the fact that FT was selling items way below the MSRP, but in turn got a lot of heat from manufacturers.

I think they have yet to explain why they are using SingPost on regions where HKPost is clearly faster, except with the case of li-ion batteries. (Weird, they shipped my 18650’s via HKPost this week.)

Auto-italics? Is this a bug?

awe i wanted to be the one to save the day from the evil italics

Wow, that was weird.
