Is FastTech going SlowTech?

Wow, that was weird.

yeah pretty sure it was the American and Canadian vendors that are forced to sell MAP that complainedā€¦canā€™t really blame them, but as a customer I like the savings lol

Were you saying something?

she reintroduced the italics to the thread!!

I just realized everything, including our user names, is in italics! :open_mouth:

Edit: and now in bold!

muhahahahaha

I didn't know that Innokin company before, but they don't make a great first impression to me.

So, FT sells their items below MSRP, and in return they accuse FT of selling fake products... IMO this alone would be enough for FT to file a lawsuit against THEM.

Posting statements like this on the web can cost you a lot of money if you are wrong. Even if you're right, but can't prove anything ;)

China doesnt work like that, they donā€™t like how the business is done by this vendor or that manufacturer but they all like to do business and that is their and they will do anything to grab as much customers they can. Lawsuits and such is appleā€™s/us style of ā€œmakingā€ businessā€¦

Anyway, shipping via HKPO was best way (8-13 days from ordering to my doorsteps) until about two months ago, then, cuple of my packages (and not only my other pepole from Serbia had identical problem) ended up stuck at HKPO for almost a month. After that we all prefered SGPO, even CN was better. Now, it seems we have identical problem, many people from Serbia are complaining that their packages left HKPO almost a month ago but they still didnā€™t arrive!!!

Just made another recent order and it took about 10 days. I live in SF, CA so packages get to me quick.

Thatā€™s what I did.

They said they hadnā€™t got it. I said you did and sent tracking number. They said # wasnā€™t valid- I may have left off two numbersā€¦. re sent it- and reminded them they had a jpeg of the receipt that I uploaded to get them to refund my shipping (which they had the prior week). Next email was a few hours later and told me theyā€™d be sending it out right away. Looks like Miami might not be that tightly of a run ship.

With something like e-vape where you are directly inhaling the product, a little caution might be a good thing. Is anyone actually considering the possibility that these may actually be fakes?
Steve, you make a very good point that a manufacturer should not just make bold statements like this without being confident in the claim. Hereā€™s my point; what if they are confident in that statement?
When it comes to flashlights, I can handle receiving a fake that initially looks like the real thing. For a product that could have health risks, Iā€™d exercise caution when advised by the productā€™s manufacturer.
Just my two cents.

Relic, you are perfectly right that one should be cautious with health-relevant products.

However, pounder in post #44 wrote that he actually bought one of these products and and he didn't sound like he received a counterfeit product.

This reminded me a bit of that thread where xtar claimed to have located and destroyed a whole lot of fake xtar chargers, but nobody did answer questions like how to distinguish a fake one from the real deal. Some members came to the conclusion that they were not fake chargers, but rather purchased through unofficial channels to obtain low prices, which the manufactury didn't like.

Now I'm not saying this is the same case here, I have by far not enough insight in the whole matter to make such a statement. I just heard so many lies from chinese companies that I'm very sceptical about believing anything they say

The order I made on the 10th was shipped by FT on the 13thā€¦. BUT, Singpost didnā€™t move it till the 19th. I figure they ship on certain days in bulk. I have another order in this month and so far its just sitting with Singpost for a week, and not moving at all. Once they dispatch it overseas it takes about 8 days to the US. It spends more time in China than it does in transit! My order via HK was dispatched the next day, so everyone is correct, Singpost is not the preferred method.

I placed two different orders with Fast tech on 6/24 and 6/25ā€¦ā€¦
Received them on July2 and July 3rdā€¦ā€¦Thatā€™s pretty fast if you ask me.
Now on the other hand I ordered some items from Saratoga, Ca. on 6/24 . they shppped it on the 25thā€¦
Guess what ? I still do not have them, itā€™s been floating around Southern California since the 27thā€¦.Just got word it sholod be delivered
tomorrowā€¦Weā€™ll see.

the innokin products FT is selling are completely genuineā€¦I bought an SVD from them and received itā€¦another innokin item (itaste v3) is in transitā€¦everyone else that is receiving the products state they are genuine alsoā€¦the SVD would be really really hard to fake as it is pretty advancedā€¦it would be pretty apparent upon receiptā€¦

I also ordered the D40A at the good price and had to wait until June 20th for it to ship, now it has been supposedly stuck in San Fran, CA since June 21st.
Just got off the phone to USPS and after talking to 2 different departments, they tell me that FastTech must contact customs to see where it is.
This is after FT told me that I had to contact USPS since it was in my country.
I have a hard time believing that the package was shipped half way around the world only 1 day after being accepted in hong kong to begin with.
Very frustrating. I have quite a few items in my shopping cart that I would like to purchase, but will not until this one is resolved.
Love FT, but this is getting old quick.
Later,
Keith

Well, you should have bought it from local US retailer, shipping would be much much faster

Once in a while the planets align and it happens. I received an order in three days once from FastTech (ordered and shipped Friday, arrived and received Monday).

Holy cow, thatā€™s faster than local shipping inside Korea!
