2*USB Mobile Device Charger 3*18650 XM-L2 Side-Switch Flashlight

hi guys look at this light
2*USB Mobile Device Charger 3*18650 XM-L2 Side-Switch Flashlight

it using 3X 18650 in parallel and has usb charger for mobile phone

remind me of this
Double USB Mobile Device Charger 3*18650 XM-L T6 Flashlight

I saw that one too, I own the Jinheng 12A, I use it as my mobile phone charger and this one looks better: bigger reflector for better throw, better driven, available with three desirable leds, but best of all: the access ports are hidden behind a cap that screws on, so I guess the light is waterproof, which the Jinheng is certainly not.

Hank really is on top of some good products lately!

Best batteries for this device ?

The Jinheng has problems with long batteries. Because there were no specs of its charging performance I wanted to have protected Panasonics in it, but I had to cut away almost the entire battery springs to squeeze them in.

The specs with this new light says that protected cells don't fit, and because the light comes with much more information I would trust unprotected batteries in it and have them charged with the inbuild charger. But I guess that the battery carrier has the same tolerances as the Jinheng, so with some fiddling I suppose you could get protected cells to fit.

i already ask hank about the battery that fit this light and he said Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh Flat Top can be used

Covered ports, micro usb charging, xml2, a low low mode…. I like!

It's nice, and I could actually use it for a trip in three weeks, but Intl Outdoor ships WAY too slow. I'll wait until Fasttech carries this.

Yeah Intl outdoor ships so slow. Everything I’ve ordered in the past 2 weeks has come, except for my intl-outdoor packages. Sigh…

yes IOS shipping is kinda slow,i was ordering several led bin and driver for my DIY project and its already 3 weeks but not yet arrive :~

I actually suspect from the nice specs that this is a intl-outdoor exclusive project, in that case it will not be at Fasttech any time soon.

It wouldn't be at my mailbox any time soon if I ordered from Intl Outdoor either. :D

I noted that they are in parallel. So because of that I understand it would be relatively safe to use unprotected cells to power the light, can charging still be dangerous however with this sort of setup?

Actually, small size orders that fit in a padded envelope coming from Int-outdoor usually arrive within two weeks at my place

I am considering of ordering this, anyone has ordered this and mind to share some opinions?

Lux numbers?

I ordered from KD

For stock LED I didn’t test. But I changed to XM-L2 T6 3C on Noctigon XM20 MCPCB

Available for adding 7135chips , You can add many 7135chips to this driver board

I cant comment on the quality but I have this in my wish list

At $36.93 you could buy the batteries as well for the same price as the above :money_mouth_face:

CheersDavid

Edit, hmmmm the one at Kaidomain linked above has a sideswitch which means the usb outputs are covered, decisions decisions

I have JinHeng too, So I recommend from KD or Int-Outdoor.

Wow, it appears to be exactly same with the IOS version with roughly $15 cheaper. :open_mouth:

Is the driver easy to be taken out? Are there any empty 7135 space available or do I have to do the piggyback if I want to add more chips on it?

I did notice the Fasttech one, despite cheaper in price but it comes with XM-L 1st gen LED, no cover for the charging ports and not-ideal mode group, hmmm.
