Welcome to BLF! You'll love being here! :)

Thank you for all the replies. Good to be amongst you.

I might have another drop-in for my spare Solarforce depends on the whims of evilbay.

welcome to the fun.

it sounds like your well on the way to becoming your friends torch guru. Next step is to find a nice pocket knife to pair with your edc selection, then you can have dilemmas like I do - which light and knife go with my current ensemble….

That makes me feel better, I though I was the only one who had EDC dilemmas like that!

Hi Steve/Vlad(?) from North of the border

I have more knife/torch choices than footwear choices (paraboots, hiking boots, steel toe capped boots or slip ons tbh).

you might be a flashaholic if……

my work day edc kit. what you cant see is in the far side rucksack pocket is my work molle pouch, it has a xiozhi, en01 and my house key ring, tlf mini 02 and h02……I need to rationalise or I need the zombie apocalypse to happen lol.

Have a pleasant time at this friendly forum, 8steve88!

I came to this hobby from Knife collecting, nothing very expensive and recently going over to the Chinese made knives, they offer great value and seem to be built to a high. if sometimes patchy, quality. I've never had a bad one yet.

It's sometimes difficult to decide what to carry on any particular day, for legality's sake it's my very sharp Spyderco Grasshopper but if I have a heavy cutting job then it'll be the Enlans that get an airing.

Not much of a bargain and I doubt the lumens but evilbay has just netted me a CREE XM-L T6 5-Mode 1000Lm LED Bulb for Surefire 6P G2 G3 9P. at £7.26 ($ 10.50) just the waiting on H.K. Postal service now.

Now where did I put that glow in the dark powder? (shines torch) Ah there it is.

EDIT. I forgot to say thank you to all that have greeted me.
