Smokin' hot deal on Inova X1 at Target

Guys, I purchased 2 of these lights today for the princely sum of $9.96 - that's right, $4.98 a piece. Regular price is $20. Only one of the 3 Targets in my area had this deal.

There are a couple variants floating around - one is marked 25 lumens, the other is 2-mode (high and low) 55 lumens max. The latter is the one to get, obviously. I think it has a CREE led.

Happy hunting.

Seems that a lot of people think the exact opposite of what you said about buying the higher lumen version . the earlier version has the nichia and has 4 timjes more runtime .. the thought is that the human eye doesn't percieve a doubled lumen amount as doubling in brightness so the concensous is that the older verion is the better one .. sort of like a mini tac .. nice price and a nice find .. my advice would be to buy both . they will make great christmas gifts for everyone .

EDIT : sems like others have a different opinion .. for 5 $ just buy them and let us know ..how wrong could you be ??

Now I have a reason to go to target

Boaz, that may be so about preferences. I always take stated lumens lightly anyway, but I would say 55 on high is a fair estimate. Low is stated as 6 lumens - that seems like a low number to me. Still a nice two-mode light, with no junk. I'd buy either one at that price.

Perception is a funny thing, I work in acoustics and it's similar. The doubling of lumens, like sound, is certainly noticeable, though.

Nice! Lucky find for all you guys in the USA.

Interestingly, the Innova X1 sparked a chinese ripoff that everyone used to call the Xnova back around 2005. And that was my first LED flashlight, which sparked my interest in them ever since then. And I payed about $6 for the Xnova, which is more than the cost of the original on sale today!

Thanks. I will check it out tomorrow. Online it is not on sale though.

Is the DPCI: 092-08-0516 on the 25 lumen one? I need to go to Target Saturday, I can just punch that number into one of the little red keypads in the store to see if that store has them at the discounted price. These would make good gifts at that price!

A real smokin' good deal

When you want "Cool flavor " ask for Boaz

The surgeon general has determined Smoking Boaz might be hazardous to your health :

And not very good for Boaz' health either ;)

I don't know - they were on the same hook as the 55 lumen version, for the same price. Only saw the 25 lumen version in one store, though, and they were all full price.

$19.79 + sales extortion fees. They were the 55 Lumen ones. Emitter seems to be an XP-C or XR-C.

Regular price at mine, too.

Went to Target and they moved the whole flashlight section and downsized it a lot..... regular price here too

It's always been a very sad section of the store .. target flashlights never fail to depress me ..What is wrong with a world where there's no match mod or foybezel or mannyfont xml ..what a sad life these housewives must lead .

nice linens section :)

This deal is spotty, but it's out there. It's been confirmed to exist in other stores around the country. Perhaps it's a prelude to a clearance sale? Anyway, I wouldn't make a special trip and burn a couple gallons of gas to look for a $5.00 bargain flashlight. Luckily I pass my other two stores on the way to/from work, so I can check on a weekly basis without much fuss.

yep, regular price for 55 lumen around me.

The flashlight section at my store has always been really crummy so it always bugs me when I hear about people going to Target and getting all these great lights. I think I saw a total of one Inova light at my store and it wasn't the one above and it was like $45. Same thing happens at Slickdeals, people post all these clearance finds of stuff at Target and they are hardly ever at the store here. The clearance on everything but toys and clothes is usually pretty rotten here and you really have to hunt to find those few clearance items.

Light section in our Targets have shrunken considerably, too. One good thing I've found is that the online inventory status for individual stores seems pretty accurate. Before I bought their last two lights, the online status was "limited availability". Right after I bought them, it said "out of stock".

You must live in central Pa... around here it's Internet or nothing.
