[GB-Closed!] Supfire m6 triple - CLOSED!

i can try. but im thinking that would cost significantly more

Worth asking... personally I'd pay a bit more to have XML2 u2 in there, and the price in terms of the LEDs themselves is not that great. I'm sure even less in bulk.

My main concern is really the UI. I already have brighter lights, so this would be more to have a spare, or to use a few as gifts. I'm kind of tired of the SRKs.

Tripod Mount hole? Open hole into the driver area? Just want to confirm that it is there.

I'm in for one! Way better aesthetics than the SRK.

good eye! i did not notice that it looks like the threaded tripod mount looks to be open access to the electronics.

i will make sure to ask if the tripod hole is sealed off. that is a concern

I notice some concern about the reflector size and throw. One positive thing about having complete reflectors is, a very even spill ring. Also, having a complete reflector means that the light that would have missed the reflector is being sent to the hotspot.
I would not discount this one from having some decent throw until it is tried out.
For me, I’m passing because of budget being destroyed by other orders. I like the host and might consider one in the future.

I guess, in the long run, it’s not all that bad for me. I would just fab something over that hole after taking out the threaded insert, like a square of copper or Nickel Silver.

If this goes thru at the price you show ($28.26) and very low or free shipping, I would want two of them, just to tear apart and make them into MT-G2 lights.

im hoping it is either blocked off and just does not look it in the picture, or it comes with a threaded plug that looks decent and not an after thought

I’m in pending shipping cost not be terrible, mainly cuz (1) (hopefully) my added interest would make a BLF group buy happen and (2) I don’t have an SRK.

I would also be VERY interested in a more current emitter, e.g., XM-L2 U2, even for a few dollars add’l.

added you to the list. also updated the list of questions in post #47 to include possibility for xml2 u2

dont bother asking but nw emitters would be of far more interest to me than cw emitters. this will just muddy the waters though and unless the emitters are on a custom star, its a mute point anyway.

I’m in for one if the buy does not go through till August. I can’t see shipping being included but would be happy to be suprised.

just a suggestion, make a total under the list of people interested. that makes it easier for members who are on the fence to see how many people there are and if its close to the number needed then it may entice them to jump in with us

Im a bit confused as to how it could be the same driver as the Skyray king but with 5 modes instead of 3?

If it is the same circuit as the king (or a better one with higher PWM) and ships for under $35 then you can put me down for one too.

I doubt this will reach 50 people, that is a huge amount of people buying a light that no one seems to have tried or reviewed.
When that is said.

If its 28-30$, then Ill take one. Put me on the list!

That is one great looking flashlight!

I’m interested. Looks like a nice light to have. You can put me down for one mebbe 2. :money_mouth_face:

i didnt think it would be worth asking for an xml2 unless they were on a direct bonded copper star... and those are not exactly everyday items. but majority seems to want xml2 so i will ask if its a possibility

its because they had just produced it and they have not been available for sale yet. from what they have said, i dont think any have been distributed to retailers even

they could have just programmed the driver for more modes maybe, im not sure. im going to ask for pics of the driver and dimensions of it too in my next email

three xml2s on noctigons costs north of $18. that brings final price up to about $46 now, which may turn more members off on it.

i will ask if they will be able to though and see what it would cost to get it done

Personally, if they are willing to customize this light, like use XML2's, noctigons, and drive the emitters as hard as is reasonable... I'd be willing to pay more, and up to ~$60.

I can see where that would turn away a lot of people. $30 is a drop in the bucket. $60 is something that a bit harder to swallow.

Thank You
