PWM is 500hz... not a big deal to me, as the original driver will be swapped with texaspyros, but probably is to some of you. im not sure what the original SRK used.
and regarding the tripod mount. in less words, they said dirt and water can not get inside the light through that hole
regarding the shipping cost, they said it would depend on how many pieces was shipped to each country. i will email them back tonight, try to make it as clear as possible that we are just looking for a shipping quote per piece shipped via HK Post.
like i said, they do not seem to speak the best english, so i will have to try to reword it...

I just sent them an email suggesting a flat rate of $30 shipped through HKPost with tracking
I had also updated them that we are up to 33 pieces claimed, with more possibly pending final price shipped. maybe that will motivate them to do the $30 shipped
also, if you have one claimed and dont really plan on buying it, let me know. not trying to be pushy, but i dont want to hit 50 pieces and tell everyone to start paying and only end up with, say, 30 pieces bought.
i would like to try and organize more group buys in the future, but only if it goes smoothly with all members involved (manufacturer and forum members)
The light looks like a great deal in the $30 range. My expectations are a littel tepid, as more than likely it’s 2.5A total for all 3 LED’s. Either way it has to be better than the mystery wallbuys skyray turd I bought. Put me down for 1. Thanks for organizing this. Very cool of you.
im on the fence depending final costs and specs. im already listed as a “yes” but just wanted to let you know per your request earlier. hoping the specs and price come back good since this looks to be a great option, could be better than the SRK and i am possibly selling my Kung (anyone, pm me if interested since i havent had the time to list it here yet)
If the point was to just make it 4mm wider I think that could easily be done with an adapter ring of sorts (just a pcb of the right size that had a copper pour over the whole thing)

What about a light without emitters so that everyone can build the light he wants…I guess it’s impossible to fulfill all wishes as they are to individual
this price is for just the light, no charger or cells included, they wanted about $6-8 more for the charger and cells and i assumed no one here would be interested.
im not sure about a light without emitters, but i think i will get the same answer as different emitters. i think we are getting ones from the first run of production. same with the custom logo. they want an order of 1k or more typically to do custom runs
no, unless someone else has contacted them for a review sample no one is getting one. i dont feel comfortable to contact a manufacturer and ask for a sample of a light.
someone earlier in the thread had translated the chinese texts, and it says something about verifying serial numbers
