[GB-Closed!] Supfire m6 triple - CLOSED!

I am definitely in!

WOW! What a GREAT photo! :)

A picture’s worth a thousand words, even though multiple languages.

Thanks for the photo!

i can try, but they werent really up to opening one up for a picture of the driver. i think im talking to someone from marketing or something

i will sent them that pic as an example. as long as thats all right with garry

edit: 11 to go!

So, are they going to remove those chinese signs or not?

The website shows a box with the flashlight and 4 included 18650’s. Does the group buy include the batteries? If it does, then I am in for 1.

no... custom run, need over 1k pieces ordered for that. or possibly more money then they are worth

no it doesnt. i assumed that no one here would want the charger or batteries. it was something like $6-8 more for the cells and charger. im sure if you wanted them, you could pay the $6-8 more for the charger and cells

OK I am in for 1

They should really think hard what it needs to be done if they want to sell something outside of China…

Why are they building a new light with old emitters? Why not XML2-U2’s? Can you ask them what it would cost with second generation emitters? You might get more people interested.

i already did, they want a MOQ of 1,000 pieces for a custom run. im not sure why they are building a new light with old emitters either.

on another note, we are only 10 off from hitting the 50 pieces.

because old emitter can be found cheaply and for new ones you can get good price only if you buy entire roll (1000pcs), that would be my guess…

Maybe someone can do a batch emitter swap? That would be fun!

lol. you volunteering?

i really did not plan on having a factory modded light when i started this. planned on trying to get members a deal on a good looking alternative to the king, and at the best price possible

i had asked them about changes people wanted to make, and they said they do not usually do custom runs of under 1,000 pieces.

I totally agree, sorry for making this hard on you.

Group buys are pretty nice, but comes at a cost of usually a single person sending email back and forth often for no compensation other than the members’ enjoyment.

Thanks for all your efforts Pulsar, and after all, the difference between XM-L and XM-L2 at these brightness levels can only be perceived via equipment.

not too much trouble, just emails back and forth

whether i got this or a king, i was planning on swapping the emitters and driver anyway. texaspyros driver can not be beat, and direct bonded copper stars are really a specialty item at this point.

and you are right, only thing i am getting out of this is the same thing every other person involved is getting. only doing it as a way to give back a little. that and get a little discount on a nice looking host

Fine with me!

These group buys are hardest on the host. Members that host them are doing it for BLF, not for some potential small gain. It’s way more work than it is worth from a financial gain stand point. Pulsar is doing a great job trying to make this a reality. Have realistic expectations folks.
