These group buys are hardest on the host. Members that host them are doing it for BLF, not for some potential small gain. It’s way more work than it is worth from a financial gain stand point. Pulsar is doing a great job trying to make this a reality. Have realistic expectations folks.

I do… I expect this light to put out 10,000 lumens, run for 12 hours on high, cure what ails me, and spout free beer. For some reason, I am always disappointed…
thats why i want your driver in it. the final production run will do that still, right?
bump. I can’t imagine a better deal could be had on this light
if the battery tube is 50mm as they say, i dont see how the driver could be. but also, they had gave me 55mm as the tail diameter, so i am not sure.
as scaru said, it wont be hard for the end user to add 4mm to the texaspyro driver. but also, texaspyro is in for two himself, so if it is 50mm, maybe he will make a small run for us

got you in!
that marks 9 to go after 48 hours or so!
if its $30 w/shipping. That costs about 10% of Nitecore’s TM10 to 26 ($200-$500+) series.
bad news guys...
Dear Nick,
Thanks your e-mail.
I asked HK Post company, $21.32 for shipped via HKPost with tracking with 1-2pcs M6 single flashlight to every country.
If you just buy 33pcs M6,it is still $28.26/pcs, the shipping charger is :$21.32 for 1-2pcs M6. Shipping by HK Post. (20-40days)
Waiting your answer
Thanks&Best regards
this literally made my day... horrible that is...
here is my response...
Hi,
The shipping charge of $21.32 just is not possible. No one is going to stay in the group buy for that price when typical shipping from the Chinese websites we buy from is either free or $2.
We are currently up to 42 pieces accounted for, pending a reasonable shipping charge. There is also a possibility for some of those members to get multiple pieces, they are just waiting on what the final cost shipped is.
There is 42 pieces taken in 48 hours!
If/when I go back to the forum and tell them that shipping is going to cost almost as much as the light, everyone will back out...
sorry guys... hope they change their mind.
This will be my first serious flashlight.
sucks. wasnt sure we would hit 50 pieces. about 48 hours later we are at 42 accounted for... and now they drop a shipping charge thats about 75% the cost of the light... i mean come on... we know better than that...
i think fastech would be more able to get them to do a custom run... money talks. i dont have the money up front.
they had just replied with an $11.24 shipping quote... i still think that will kill the deal. that brings it up to $40, give or take some change...
Ahhhhhh blower.
Don’t really know if they can do better than $11… If they could get it down to $35 shipped I would still be in for sure.
Will take one if around $30 inclusive shipping.

They went from $21 to $11? I’d question (them) why they even bothered with the $21 quote in the 1st place.
Edit: BTW, was that $11 for any/all countries, or just for, say, U.S.?
Hi,
That is a little better, but i think we will go from the 42 pieces accounted for, to less than half of that. This is a brand new item, never seen by anyone at the forums. I was the first one to spot it, and bring it to their attention. A lot of the members are not sure on that alone, and are only joining in for the good price. If it was a known model, and there was some feedback on it, then maybe they would be willing to spend about $40 shipped. But at this point no one has ever seen it.The BudgetLightForum community has a huge influence on the flashlight community. But they are also a picky group. We want a good value for money. Not many members are going to spend $40 on an unknown light. There is already limited knowledge of SupFire on the forums.I really think at $30-33 a piece shipped would bring this group buy up past 50, and even closer to the 75 piece mark. at $40 a piece shipped, i think it will die out to about a dozen pieces.Sorry to say, but I dont think that will be beneficial to us or you...Nick
this is my current email to them regarding the shipping quote. im trying to be polite and make my point at the same time.
$40 for it may be a good deal, but no one has even seen this light before i posted this group buy. there is already limited knowledge on SupFire as it is.
i guess all i can say is we will wait for their response. but at the current quote i am out, as im sure most of you will be too.
all i can say is sorry for the false hope at this point
edit: the $11.26 or whatever was per 1-2 pieces shipped anywhere
Those “free shipping” deals have the shipping built into the price. I found the Jin Heng 12A dual-USB charger lights sell for around $25 from China without shipping. The “free shipping” raises the price to around $40. $25 for an SRK class light is really cheap. Even with the $11 shipping it is at or below what you can get an SRK for.
Who knows how they went from 21 to 11…………
But, If they halve it again to 5 or 6 bucks to ship I would hope everyone would be happy with that. $33 shipped is still a damn good deal assuming the specs they quoted are accurate.
I think your email covers it well and does not seem over the line in any way.
They should’ve estimated shipped pricing from the start. We aren’t local duhhrrr. They probably didn’t realize quite what they were getting into… but if they want to increase brand visibility (in the States) it would be good for them to do this.
I think the suppliers/manufacturers don’t usually have much contact with the end customer, and therefore they are usually pretty ignorant about shipping options. The government apparently subsidizes shipping to foment trade, but I’m not sure if they offer that to everyone or just to certain companies with a certain tax status. So maybe you could ask Supfire if they would be willing to work with a reputable Chinese retail seller of our choice that does free shipping?
