Pulsar, sorry to convey unhappy news for you as organizer.
since they will ship with CN Post to meet the price, I prefer to out
I had few experiences with CN Post while active buying stuff from Ebay.
there were only 2 cases with them:
lost package
if didn’t lost, arrival time average 2 months, and some with item damage.
just too many hassle.
thanks though for this GB chance.

I’m probably misunderstanding something, but 2.5A per LED, seems quite high, for a multi LED light. What are the SRK’s pulling? IIRC it was ~5.5A.
This driver would be pulling at least 7.5A… which is great, if that’s the case, but it would suck to find out that the driver is actually just 2.5A.
Also, any other option for LED, or strictly only XMLT6?
If LEDs are in series, each LED would get the same current ie, 2.5A and at approximately 700lumens per XM-L at 2.5A, the claim of 2000lumens sounds correct.
So theoretically do you guys think this will be brighter than a SRK? And compared with some of the good “Kung” versions that a few of you have received?

I’m in for 1 at 33 shipped.
Count me in for one at $33.

Sad to hear about your experiences. Most of my packages come China Post and they have always taken less time than HK post. Possibly the seller did something wrong.
If they happen to change shipment to HK Post somehow, I’m in for $33 shipped.
I have better luck with HK Post than SG Post and CN Post, so will not gamble on that postal service ever again except for real low value item.
Maybe I should PM their reps and persuade :D

they said HK Post is significantly more than china post. probably since they are based in china and not hong kong.
I think we have reached the lowest price at this point, and have updated the original post to reflect the final cost shipped and shipping methood

Any guesses on throw, and on battery life (say with Sanyo 2600’s)?

Glad this seems to have gotten sorted out. I think it will be good for all involved.
^This is a good point worth noting.

we are already up to 51, still want two?
and I/we can discuss the listed cost tonight with them. i think the quoted $28.26 would be the honest way out, but wont hurt to try $25. was a late night of negotiating LOL i got like no sleep...

Could you ask about the throw? I am very interested, but would like to know that before I commit. The photos on the web site are not very informative, as it’s hard to know without a known distance for reference.
If I did my own mods I wouldn’t care, but I haven’t gotten into modding yet.
Thanks,
Jim

I am happy as long as its 28,26$. Which I believe is the correct value since that seems to be the cost of light without shipping. No need for them to make the content value higher than it is.
When that is said, I would not care if the package said 10 or 20.
Most HK/China vendors seem to just mark stuff as gift and 10$ anyway…

I know this is hard without the physical light, but could someone weigh the differences between this and the SRK?
I thought that the PWM is better and the reflector is “uninterrupted.” Anything to add guys?
Cheers!
