[GB-Closed!] Supfire m6 triple - CLOSED!

you can explain to them this is a good thing since it will allow more time for members to join the GB and once the has done his great review people will see how “great” the light is so this will attract more members to join as well. win-win for them. i say “great” since its a pitch to them and you dont want to talk about the slight chance it could be crap.

Or the review shows how wonderful this light is and they decide to raise the price for those outside the original 50. :expressionless:

well first off why would you care since your part of this GB. even if they do raise the price for people outside the GB, which im 100% sure once this GB is over, why would you care since you are getting one as part of the GB=GB price. thats what a GB is, we get lower prices since we get a bunch of people to buy at once.

+1

I meant before we actually pull the trigger while we wait for the review. If the review is stellar, a lot more members will want to get in on the group buy. Dont want others who are on the fence to miss out on the price.

But then again, you snooze you lose I guess.

i personally dont think they would do that. i think they would prefer to sell as many pieces as possible in this group buy

Well I’m on the fence with regards to waiting for the review. Who knows what might happen in the minds of supfire in the next 2 weeks or so. Just tryin to cover all bases.

Im in for one, when can payment be made?

if they raise prices then the can change the review to trash on supfire. if they want to play unfair then we can too. doubt they will do this since as someone else said, they want to sell as many as possible. otherwise they wouldnt offer this GB

Wow….That was mondo-mega fast lol. Im already on the list

Though it would take a while for the update lol Way to go Pulsar!

got you down. seems majority wants to see _the_'s review before we purchase. but if they dont agree to selling him one early and upgrading it to DHL for free, i would like you to refer to post #289. i would hate to see people back out at the last moment because something that wasnt originally part of the group buy does not go through

and on another note, i think _the_ values his reputation too much to give a bad review of a good flashlight.

ive been putting in the time keeping this as up to date as possible

They will not raise the price based on the review. The price is set. There is no reason to raise it based on what =the= says. The actual product (and its cost) would not change, they would not have time, as it would already be produced. Rework is costly.
The value for us is to have it reviewed before pulling the trigger.
The value for SupFire to have it reviewed first is potentially more buyers in the GB (50 isn’t a limit, it’s a minimum).

Put me in for 2 units! (One is for a friend).

What the heck, this should make a great first light I hope  count me in for one at $33. I have 54 unprotected 18650’s but not a single thing to use them in yet 8) I was considering adding some PCB’s from FT to the batteries or is that necessary? Lithium tech is not new to me as I have plenty of experience with R/C lipo’s for surface and air. Considering these batteries don’t run in series is it easy enough to see by the light output when they get low on this type of light?

1 for me and I am neutral on waiting for a review. Let the more experienced decided.

Welcome to the forum Jagged. Parallel is a pretty safe arrangement. The cells stay in balance with each other. Hopefully, this light does the thing were one emitter goes out at a time as voltage gets low. The FF SRK’s do that. Even when down to one emitter, the light output is more than good enough to get around.

Edit: You do need to make sure the cells are close to the same voltage when first loading them. It is good practice to use matching cells (same batch, charge to the same approximate voltage). Obviously, the normal safety precautions like looking for visible leaks/damage, charging cells in a fire proof, well ventilated area, etc should still be followed.

and hitting 60 already. Yet they’ve raised it from $28 to $30 to $33.

the original $28.26 was not including shipping. I was hoping they would ship it for $30, but that didnt happen. so technically they did not raise it from $28-30. their original shipping quote was $21 and change... so that just shows how much negotiation went in to getting a final price of $33...

Will laptop batteries work with this light? My cousin gave me his old hp battery. I have budget for the light only. TIA for any input.

they will, but you must exercise extreme caution. with that said, all of the 18650s i currently use in my light are unprotected pack pulls. sometimes they will be too short to properly work in a light though
