Is FastTech going SlowTech?

Got my order yesterday after 26 days, 2 more days and it would have been 4 weeks.
I used to get them in about a week or so from FastTech.

My two orders from June 27 and 28 are still on their way to Canada. I really do hope they do not ship via SingPost again, as they said they would blacklist it on my account. They said that once before too though… :expressionless:

My most recent order was placed on July 2, marked as shipped on July 4 & 5 (split order), arrived on July 13 & 15. Took longer than normal because of falling across two weekends...

My last order was shipped fast, as in next day. BUT, it still took 19 days total including the weekends. So my 20 day average still holds to Alabama. Looks like the US customs slowed it down this time.

I wonder if FastTech is red flagged or maybe its the batteries. I do know that I have gotten batteries from other sellers in China much quicker. 10 days or so usually. Customs is holding my FastTech orders longer. One order sat with HK post over a week due to customs. No complaints of the batteries though, the last batch appear to be genuine, charging them now. Still a great deal, they can’t control the mail.

Good point. From now on I think I will order my batteries alone with nothing else in the order.

My last 5 packages from them took an average of 8.6 days from date of order to arrival at my office. The fastest was 6 days and the slowest 12. I live in San Francisco so perhaps that cuts a day or so out of travel time to other parts of the US.

My last order included batteries and it took 7 days. The longest it ever took for an order with batteries is 12 days. From my experience shipping time is not dependent on batteries.

It may be the point of entry, mine have all come through New York. But, I find it very interesting that I receive packages from China in 8 to 10 days from other vendors. I ordered a SRK off ebay last month. That took 10 days including the weekend so it was really 8 days from the order, a FastTech order on the very same day took 20 days, it was marked shipped 3 days after the order.

I just expect FatTech orders around 20 days, so far nothing has failed to show up. Wish I was the one getting packages in a week though. That would be icing on the cake.

I guess I'm the exception.

Ever since FT have shipped with SingPost, my order always arrives within 5 business days.
It doesn't take two weeks to make the short hop down here any more. :)

I had some bad experience with SingPost, slowwww……

I just got the first order I have placed through FastTech:

Order Placed: 6/30/2013
Shipped: Tuesday, July 02, 2013 10:22:25 AM
and received today

All in all I’m fairly impressed. That’s 11 business days in transit and was shipped with Singapore post. What is interesting for those in Canada is where it was processed:
2013/07/17 11:22 CALGARY Item successfully delivered
10:24 CALGARY Item out for delivery
05:51 CALGARY Item processed at local delivery facility
2013/07/16 18:31 CALGARY Item processed at postal facility
2013/07/15 20:01 WINNIPEG Item in transit
17:54 WINNIPEG Item processed at postal facility
2013/07/06 17:33 SGSINJ,Singapore International item processed in origin country
17:33 SGSINJ,Singapore International item has left the origin country and is en route to Canada

I can’t say I have ever had an international package route through Winnipeg before. Everything I have ever order from the other side of the Pacific has gone through Vancouver.

All my SingPost packages to the U.S. land in Florida, and I assume they're not getting here via a boat thru the Panama canal, so they have to be sending the stuff across Europe and then across the Atlantic. HKPost packages land in California.

My FT SingPost orders arrived today too (19 days from shipped to delivered). I’m wondering if they all came to Canada on the same jet. The Winnipeg entry is odd. I’m pretty sure all Canada is serviced through Toronto or Vancouver.

It’s been awhile since I bought from FT, but I placed an order on 7/11, and according to FT it was shipped 11/13 (Saturday), so 2 days to get shipped. It was a pretty small order too, so strange that it took them 2 days.

USPS.com shows that it shipped 7/15, and it arrived today (7/15) in SFO. I’m on the east coast, so it’ll be few days still to get here.

I placed a 2nd order on 7/12 (Friday, stuff I forgot), and FT says it shipped on 7/16 (Tuesday). It showed up on USPS.com today (7/17).

Both shipments were via HK Post.

I had my account changed to Hong Kong Post in May. A recent order was shipped by Sing Post. I have had some things arrive quite quickly via Sing Post from a different seller. Hopefully it won’t take too long to arrive.

For Canada I also received SG and China Post items via Winnipeg, and HK Post was via Mississauga. As usual, due to shorter coffee breaks and sick time, the western canadian workers worked harder than the eastern canadians and got it processed quicker…

Hi,

I don’t know if this has been posted, but I found this post from “geek” on the FT forums:

https://www.fasttech.com/forums/feedback/t/1012562/postage-methods-please-continue-to-send-via-hk-pos

The part that I hadn’t seen before was the explanation of the reasons why they had apparently switched off of HK Post.

Placed 3 orders this week , first is HK post 2nd SG post, the big order went HK?

My order placed 1/7, shipped 2/7 via HKPost and still
“being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 14-Jul-2013”

no updates.

Very interesting!
I have had only a couple short looks to Fasttechs vaping products and I had some thoughts that they all were “cheapies of unknown quality”…
SVD was genuine, but how good is it in terms of quality, if you happen to ask from an vaping aficionado? 8)

I’m not a e-smoker myself but I smoke a cigar maybe a couple times a year (cigarettes: never) - so people keep asking from me about e-cigarettes but I know ~nothing
