Dale, looks like youre the only one willing do some nasty with your tools-can you try to abuse your st300 smallest flathead and see if corners will bend?
I use that small flathead @ work often. No issue yet. Have you had a problem with yours?
I have used and abused all of my leathermans. I have broke both of my flat head bits, and the wire cutter on my wave does not like cutting.045 welding wire. The pivot on the pliers is worn, and sometimes when used for a heavy task they get bound up and I need to bang them off something to realign the pivot.
I have already broke the file off of my ps4, I was using it to pry open a tv case
But I live 40 mins from llbean. All I have to do is bring it there and get a new one.
My wave has seen about 5 years of heavy use and I am more than happy with its current condition
There’s more differences between the original and new style wave in addition to the removable screwdriver bits:
-All tools have locking mechanism
-Smaller scissors
-Reshaped main blade and pliers
-Little bit bigger size and few grams more weight due to all the changes.
The old style wave is slimmer, and I’ve seen some complain that the new one is not as comfortable to hold.

I’m fairly impressed with the Wingman. For someone just looking for a multi tool. Especially a economical most bang for your buck type deal. I think the Wingman would be tough to beat.
I carry a Charge TTi. I have a Squirt PS4 and P4, a Kick, and a Super Tool 300.
All Leatherman tools are good (at least based on my small sampling).
+1 Agreed, although I am dying to get my hands on one of the Victorinox multi tools.
I have Gerber Clutch, Gerber Shortcut, Gerber Legend, Gerber Pro Scout, Leatherman Juice S2, Victorinox Swisstool, some others Victorinox.
Gerber Pro Scout is my favorite, compact enough, good knife, and swing to release the pliers is cool 
Ill see that in a week, when I get 2 of my Wingman’s :D!
And yes, Ive managed to bend corners on the smallest flat screwdriver :D!

Just received the wingman and need some recommendations for a holster. Maybe a dual holster, one for a flashlight and one for a multitool. Thanks in advance.
I have two leatherman tools: a PST II that I got in the 90s and used regularly for at least 15 years (it was the anchor on my keychain, and went everywhere with me), and a Juice S2 I got just a few months ago.
Comparing the two, I must say… they don’t make them like they used to. I mean, the Juice S2 is pretty nice… but it just doesn’t seem as sturdy or well-designed and the parts don’t fit together as cleanly. The colored plates feel particularly wimpy; no more using my multitool as a hammer. But my old PST II is still in great condition after a long time of frequent use and daily carry. It has, literally, gone to opposite ends of the world with me, and has been my primary tool for most of my life. Still in great condition, aside from needing to be cleaned a little.
As far as I can tell, the Wave is probably the best all-around multitool on the market… but it’s also too big and heavy for my purposes so I wanted something smaller and lighter. Preferably something with a diamond file, scissors, sturdy pliers, philips screwdriver, and at least wide and narrow straight-slot screwdrivers.
I couldn’t find anything with a diamond file which wouldn’t involve carrying something much heavier than my PST II, so I ended up making one to keep on my keychain. Got a cheap set of small diamond files, chopped the handle off one, drilled a hole through it, added a split ring, and now it’s one of the most useful things I’ve ever carried. With a keychain holding a 1xAAA torch, a small knife, and a diamond file, I hardly even need a multitool.
Can’t help with the holster…. I wear a boonie vest with approximately 7,642 pockets…. I lose crap for years in that vest……
Oh, er, BTW… the reason I got a Juice S2 is because someone gave me a Leatherman Rebar and I traded it in for something more appropriate. The Rebar was, um, one of the least useful tools I’ve ever seen — at least for my purposes. It would have been a significant downgrade from my PST II (bigger and heavier, with fewer tools I’d use), so I shopped around to find something closer to optimal.
I think the numbers worked out to about 4-6 useful tools (out of 15) on the Rebar, vs 7-9 useful tools (of 10) on the Juice S2… and the latter is significantly lighter and easier to carry.
I really don’t know why my father decided to give me a new multitool. I told him repeatedly not to, because the one he gave me 15+ years ago was still just fine. I think he decided it was simply too old though, and that it was his responsibility to ensure his daughter had a good multitool. … and I think he was probably feeling a little guilty for having received some nice flashlights from me (SK-68, SRK, TK75).

+1 My wife found it odd to find a Leatherman Kick & SK-68 in her purse… She has sense then grown fond of them.
