exduct.com

All very nice, but you have to buy minimum 30 lights though

I guess i know where im going to get my next knife.....prices are decent and im hoping the quality is good as well.

I bought my SRM 710 at Focalprice - seems to be cheaper at this site, but some of the SRMs are more expensive, so check it before ordering.

Example:

No SRMs in stock at FP at the moment.

And no other site ( I know ) has so many models of SRM on sale.

Sorry about the Small Sun link, did not notice the "wholesale" part.

Just thought I’d comment on my experience with exduct.com.
I ordered 2 Sanrenmu knives from them on Thursday the 3rd, they shipped on Tuesday the 8th and arrived (UK) yesterday Wednesday the16th so thumbs up.
My pre and post order enquiries were answered quickly and by the same guy which was good.
You have to create an account and start the checkout process to see the shipping charges but it is before you commit to buy.
For my order the shipping was $4.71 or $6.46 with tracking number.
I’m no knife expert but the quality seems to be good especially on the T21 which I bought for work instead of expensive multi-tools which I keep freaking loosing.
Must have lost 5 Leathermen in the past 3 years, not a problem when the company paid for them but now I’m contracting and have to pay for them out of my own pocket.
Only slight problem was that the other knife was delivered with a tanto blade even though I ordered both with drop points, don’t like tantos ever since I heard them referred to as rib spreaders..... even typing it makes me cringe.

Might be worth asking exduct.com if they do sample sales of individual flashlights if you see something you like as shipping cost seems ok.

Cheers,

Gary

Thanks for that little tip....im more of a drop point tip myself. The knives do look nice though.

So what's the deal with these SanRenMu knives? Just curious. I'm not a real knife geek but I do have a Gerber and a Kershaw.

Personally I don’t EDC a knife regardless of the fact that most are illegal here in the UK anyway.
Locking blades are only legal to carry in public if you have a provable valid reason, work or on your way camping and such like.
Mine are strictly for home use or to keep in my work toolkit.

The only criticism I’ve read about Sanrenmu is that some of their designs are copies.

Apart from that, they are far better quality than their price would suggest.

If I could justify it I'd buy one from a US brand name like one you mentioned but as with most nice things I will loose it so replacing a cheap Chinese one is simply easier to swallow.

Or simple: Sanrenmu is the Romisen of knives.

Well put.

Now thats a good comparison.......

Ok, sorry this thread has gone off flashlights, but according to the FP forums referring to SRM knives :

"Our purchase guy said that they can restock them back in a week once you place the order. So, if you realy want it, you can make an order first. "

I personally like Leatherman-style or Gerber-style multifunction plier tools. Anyone know of a good Chinese knockoff perchance? Thanks!

Look like Gerber knocloffs - if they are decent quality then not bad at all. If.

The free shipping on them helps.

They are made by the same folks as make the knives so ought to be not bad -- but I know little about them so would be interested if anyone owns them.

Ah yes, thanks Don. They look pretty nice. However, I wonder if they have locking blades? That is the hard-to-find feature on anything that isn't Gerber or Leatherman.

True, and important. Forgot to check that.

Nothing like having the blade fold up under your finger.

They do seem to have the same shape....and for the accessories that it comes with its not a bad price at all.....i have a Leatherman and Gerber and the Leatherman is going on 15 years now. What i like about the Gerber is that the pliers are spring assisted to open when you grasp or cut wire.

I wonder if the tools have some sort of lock back mechanism like on the old buck knives we all used to have as kid.

That gerber multi-tool looks very nice. I have a very old leatherman that still does a good job but I wouldn't mind one of them cool looking gerbers. ;)

If you take a look at the silver and forest camo tools and then take a look at the Gerber it seems the placement of the metric screws are the same.
