About Quark lights.....

Are they rebranded ITP?

Previously I've come across a few threads over at CPF mentioning that they are rebranded ITP lights, but seems all had been removed.

No, they are original 4Seven lights. Both are good quality medium priced lights.

Given 4Sevens presentation at the latest shot show, they are probably made in the same factory as Olight.

The Mini series are probably made in the same factory, but they have their own driver. Also, the AAA Klarus light on the outside looks like a mirror image of the Revo, but has a different circuit.

The circuit board in the Preon looks identical from the bottom to the iTP A3 EOS. I saw pictures somewhere, but can't find them right now. It may not even be the Preon, but it is one of the 4Sevens lights.

Even so, I wouldn't say it was rebranded because they lights are otherwise not at all identical. Even the Maratac AAA and iTP A3 EOS, which are identical on the inside are not rebranded since they look different.

Thanks for the comments, guys! It was the similarities of the Mini series and the comments from CPF that made me want to find out more. :)

It is quite possible they are made in the same factory as with the ITP's and Maratac's...I don't imagine they will ever confirm that.

Olight makes many of the lights for ITP and Maratac. In fact, Olight has released stainless steel A3's with Olight labeling before. It is entirely possible they also make the 4sevens lights.

Found it. It was in a review of the Quark MiNiX 123 where it looks just like the iTP A1:

Probably pretty safe to say these were made in the same factory and probably by Olight. 4sevens is just a distiributor that decided to offer their own branded lights. No way they would try to set up their own factory, etc from where they were starting from so they likely shopped around for a reasonable quality manufacturer that would do OEM for them. Seems Olight makes a heck of a lot of lights.

ITP is a subsidiary of Olight. Maratac is an OEM customer that uses customized ITPs for some of their lights (the newer models are all made by Mr Lite).

Olight and 4Sevens just entered in to a technology sharing agreement. So while Olight/ITP doesn't make 4Sevens lights, a lot of the internals will be similar going forward.
