Deal?? Maha MH-C9000 Advanced Battery Charger AA/AAA $49.97

Just wanted aftrburnr to go about it right from the get go. I usually pull em as they’re done as well, I keep them in groups so the same batteries work together in the same flash. Not exactly sure WHY I do that, but it’s the way I’ve done it for the last 6 years or so. Cells are marked for the flash unit, dated, and stored in boxes of 4 ready to go.

I just happened to take the pic that way……and yes i do load them from left to right….and usually all the cells are of the same capacity.

With older lower capacity cells to the right, even AAA cells on the right. No problems.

As I’m posting this, it is 52.97 at Amazon, shipping included, which may be cheaper.

$44.95 here for those in the USA, its been that price for over a year there. Not sure about shipping but they have them in a few stores around the country too.

See if you can put one into your cart at that Ham Radio site, I never have been able to.

I did a while ago got invoiced for shipping to Australia (they had to do it manually) but it was more than I was willing to pay.

I can add it to my cart now but it dissapears when I go to checkout.

Ill try with my addblocker off and maybe another browser and see if it works.

edit
Works fine on IE, it asks you to log in or check out as guest.

On Chrome it seems bugged.

Yep, all your information was correct, in IE it works.

I didn’t fill in everything to find out what shipping cost though, I assume at least five dollars, probably $7.00.

They don’t ship it to the EU?? No eu countries appear on the shipping list, not even Netherlands. Very strange not shipping locally, maybe it’s because it’s not CE approved? Or is it an error on my browser?
Did someone try it yet?
EDIT:
OK, i found he problem, you linked ru.nkon.nl. they have also EU.nkon.nl, but the prices are a bit higher

I might have to get one… my nitecore intellicharge i4 v2 just charged 4 of my NiMHs to 1.36v…
At least I only have 1 AA light left which I hardly ever use, that softens the blow.

The guy I called at Thomas Distributing said it has a 3 year warranty on it.

@alfreddajero You’re part of the reason I bought this charger! See what you did!

@DBCstm Thanks for your tips! I’ll be studying the manual. Have already done some reading on it.

ezarc: I should have asked you first! You’re the deal finder fo sho!! Well, it turns out they have a store in Phoenix, AZ. It’s on the other side of town from me & about 30 miles away. BUT, good to know I can go get one there if I ever needed. The other things would be local tax I think about 9% or so & 2-3 gallons of gas @ $3.43 a gallon back & forth. Then again, I wouldn’t have to wait till next week for it.

@kreisler I’d love to see a VP1 4 bay with possibly a few more features like the MH-C9000 has. I’m also looking at the SkyRC if the price comes down a bit. Maybe a VP1 4 bay with all the features of the SkyRC? w00t!

@brad I was able to add it to my cart just fine using Firefox 22.0

If you’re genuine about all this then I am grateful. Thanks kreisl.

And will it be cheaper than the maha 9000? If so, I’ll patiently wait for it

fabulous, versatile charger. One thing to point out is that Maha Energy’s customer service is very good- I had one from Amazon that wasn’t performing right, and Eric from Maha swapped it for me for a new one no questions asked, he even paid the shipping.

I have 3 i4s in addition to my 2 C9000s……they are also great chargers……using them more every day. Only issue is they don’t fit 26650 without using a coin as spacer- so I picked up 2 Trustfire TR-006, so far they’re working fine.

That’s another reason I chose this charger was for the service after the sale. I have read about some not so good stories about this charger as well. Just like anything else I guess. There’s always gonna be some that aren’t 100%.

Care to share a bit more upon specifics ?
No doubt multiple folks here have ideas’ and or desires that they hope would be integrated

Nah, not interested in expulsion, just rather you get it right the first time, so we don’t have to wait another 6 months after sending you back to the drawing board
BTW, I do appreciate why you’re unable to provide specifics such as the technology you plan to integrate features, was more a desire to see what features you’re contemplating thus far and are you open to suggestions from us prospective users

I like my Maha C9000, its been a reliable performer for years now. And I prefer to balance charge the Li-Ions I use in bigger lights with an RC charger. But I wanted something decent for single cells.

Now, I don’t trust promises about products that don’t exist yet, especially when the proponent is slamming competing products and suggesting I don’t buy them. Also, many promised products never happen - just look at Apple.

So I ordered an Xtar VP1, mostly because of the favourable review HKJ gave it. And I also really liked the choice of .25, .5 and 1.0A charge rates.

@photon1k Getting a bit off topic but I plan on also getting a SkyRC or something like it, 1-2 VP1 and 1-2 Nitecore i4. A hobby charger would be nice but they look like they would take a bit more work than I have time for atm.
