i found this light on my brother drawer and there is no led bin and driver circuit just the body tube 
i wonder what kinda mod will suitable for this light?

you want a 20mm star, and if your going for such a warm tint anyway, grab the hi cri version instead.
Other than that, I cant think of a better set up as that is whats happening to my own a8 :bigsmile:
5B1 higher CRI than 80?
indeed, illumination supply do some 90cri xm-l2’s but I think they are bare and need to be reflowed.

They do, they are, and it does.
This LED and the Qlite driver is how I'm building my A8 clone. It'll essentially be a high CRI version of the BLF A8 with tailcap lockout. Unless the Qlite has extra chips stacked for additional current, I think the high CRI emitter is a better match with an unmodified driver in the A8.
I've already put it in my Xeno e03 with a Qlite driver. Sometimes I wish for a whiter tint, but it's still very nice around the house.
My A8 build will offer longer throw and much longer battery life.
