Thanks again rdrfronty and manxbuggy1 for all your work and effort.
Always look forward to seeing your beamshot comparisons.

I wish you could of done some more lights. Geesh!

Awesome job!

Thank you very much for the photos…very, very nice. Shortens the selection process.

Yeah, it wasn’t going to be that many at first, but the list kept growing & growing.

Wow, thats alot of lights.

Very nice shots, thanks for taking the time to do them.
That Firefox is insanely bright on the 60w mode.

But when are we gonna see a de-domed XML2 DST? Afterall it’s only about the most heavily pinged thread on here and practically everyone wants one now.

At currently $16.98 for one and since this is a budget light forum and the sucker does throw like a mofo I kinda think we can forego another C8 beamshot for awhile. I dunno. Maybe I’m being too frissy. Ignoring it tho’ to me is kinda like missing a big a elephant in the middle of a bedroom.

that btu ios is money

i know because i have one :stuck_out_tongue:

Well we had one, but sent it to another member here. It was a nice thrower. No immediate plans for getting another one though. Our bases are pretty well covered in the thrower department.

It’s like the current Ferrari of budget kick a throwers and it gets completely ignored! I mean instead there’s a shot of a stock Sipik 68 attempting to go 300 meters. It’s like ok what’s the point of that? I guess I don’t get this glaring omission about the DST is all.

BTW I think your beamshots are the best out there and in fact I don’t even pay attention to all other beamshots because I don’t trust their accuracy. They really don’t tell me jack IOW even though others get all excited.

Your’s however IMO are undoubtedly without question the way it should be done.

Nice…just nice. Thanks you rdrfronty and manxbuggy1.

Thanks for your time and effort a really good setup.
k40 and ff4 look like winners to me.

Regards
Trev

We enjoy doing these. We also wanted to kind of showcase Tom E and Vinh’s incredible mods. We were disappointed that the battery on the Yezl Hid died right as we started the shoot. We charge batteries for 2 days and forget one of the heavy hitters. Go figure. Well it is charged and ready to go now. I will try to add it to the mix next Saturday night.

Awesome Job!! Thank you for sharing all that with us.

Nice beem shots  it goes to show how much variations there are in the various Skyray lights out there, as my particular Skyray kung is noticibly brighter and more powerful than both my kings and my brothers king, and even comes close to his TK75 for flood brightness.

Thanks for sharing your hard work .

Cool

The SK68 were a request by a fellow member. Brother owned a couple, so it was easy enough for us to include them. But they really didn’t stand a chance against the big guns in this shoot out.
And thanks. It’s a fair amount of work doing a big set of light like this. But it is also pretty fun.

Thanks.

From the time you left home to the time you got back home, how long was it? Your photography as usual is fantastic that leaves little argument. Your enthusiasm goes without peer. Thanks for the effort.
I dont know about others but would you mind doing a brief summary on picking lights to setting up, who stands where etc. Na, you’ve already done to much. Cheers guys, love your work.
