So now that this light is on the landscape, will be interesting to see the reviews. It would appear to be a Convoy S2 in black with a redesigned head that has nice heat sinking fins on it, and comes with a pocket clip. It will remain to be seen if the end user market will be willing to pay an extra $8.00 - $10.00 for these features. If not, then I guess this model will come down in price to match the S2, especially when the competition starts to SKU it up.

I can’t see buying Convoys at FastTech anymore, at least until they start putting XML2s in them like Simon.
no more reminders of how I tried hard to get one of these for $5, and didn’t. I couldn’t sit at the computer 24 hours a day. Happy for those who were able to get their best $5 light. At least I won’t have any anxiety ‘waiting’ and ‘waiting’ for the light to show up 8)

Yes. In Aliexpress, you click on your order number and you will be taken to the order details.
My payments have just been verified by Aliexpress. So the "Cancel Order" button has appeared next to my orders. Anyone that accidentally placed a duplicate order (like I did), now is probably a good time to request cancellation. Before the order is shipped.
