Just explain to him that a small write down for the shipping costs provided SupBeam a tremendous amount of goodwill and brand recognition. Cheaper and more effective than any advertisement he could have purchased. The K40 is one of the hottest - no pun intended - lights with enthusiasts today.
hey cellguy ,
This is a good suggestion and I will take your advice. But I think it still need some time to try my best to persuade my boss
to allow me to do the group buy. I will try, thanks again, have a nice weekend.
This light, what little of it can be seen, is promising. The quality of the K40 impressed me, and if this one is similar, I would love to get it in a GB.
What's worrying though, is that it has 5 LEDs, not 4 like the RC40. Personally my preference is for more throw vs more lumens for flood.
I will try all my best to help all of you get a best flashlight with a best price, but the problem is the produce cost is really very high. So I am just afraid there are not enough buyers.
What do you think the best price for a pre release group buy could be? A good group buy could be huge publicity for a new product. Basically free advertising
Subtract at least $225 (probably more) from that and you might reach the manufacturers break-even. Lets see what Alice can do for us.
Alice, can you please offer these flashlights without glue on the threaded connections of the flashlight so that we can take them completely apart for modifications at a later date? If so, I will definitely buy at least 1 (probably many more) at $150.
Finding more and more with these lights that it’s the same amount of lumens each time just divided into more LEDs. For this to be worth while it needs to be pushing out north of 3000 OTF lumens or else what’s the point? Just go get another cheaper shower head…….
Send one out for a review. A good (or great) review will get you more sales than a price reduction on an unknown light.
