- EagleTac GX25A3 vs. C12 XML2U3 -

Looks to be quite cool, goes from DD on high to a nice moonlight…any way to kill the mode memory? With the right battery I’ll bet this would make the C12 a real scorcher!

I love my C12 XML 2-U2 it has since replaced my disappointingly under drive KDC8XML2-U2 as my edc in my belt holster when I order some more Panasonic's 18650's next month I am I'll also be buying some 7135 chips and hopefully start trying on small mods on it I really lime my C12 !

Cool LJ, probably the most light for $18 that you can get!

There are reports that Panasonics are too long for many flashlights.
Could you post back whether the Panasonic fits the C12?

anyone can tell me if the aliexpress C12 is better than the one from Lightmalls?

Don’t think Lightmalls carries C12 XM-L2 U3, LM charges $2.95 tracking number fee. Ali often has discounts.

This seems to be a cool flashlight  I want to get it!

Anything about the regulation? How many lumens on the different modes? thanks!

I think those C12s have been around for a long time - I’m pretty sure I have pictures of my German Grandfather throwing them at Russians in WW I.

Always wondered about that, but I thought those were SK68s. It wouldn’t hurt as much as getting beaned with a BTU Shocker though.

I meant the c12!

In early July, I placed an order for the same C12 along with the similar C8 (both with the same XM-L2 emitters), from the same seller you listed. The C8 I received is definitely brighter than the C12, and throws ever so slightly further. Did I just get a weak C12, or a very good C8? The C8 was a very pleasant surprise for the money, being very close to the brightness of my XinTD V4.

fit fine they are a little long but no problem so far.

funny:-)

There were several(?) posts saying C8 was brighter, but then there were several(?), like ’tallboybass’ here, who said C12 was brighter. The issue is going to be resolved only when lumen numbers are given.

I didn’t compare the C12 to a C8…

I think both are unregulated which means that actual brightness depends on battery voltage and emitter Vf. Those numbers can vary a lot so the number of lumens would only be applicable to the one specific flashlight, not the whole type.

I’d take the Eagletac any day of the week!!!
