What do you think the best price for a pre release group buy could be? A good group buy could be huge publicity for a new product. Basically free advertising
$150 shipped would be ideal. $200 shipped would be fair but less interesting. This not Expensive Light Forum!
You’re right. The Superbeam looks like the RC40. Except with the rectangular pattern on the Superbeam’s handle.
Their RRP is 299 so I doubt it would get that low. I’d love to be proven wrong though 
Subtract at least $225 (probably more) from that and you might reach the manufacturers break-even. Lets see what Alice can do for us.
Alice, can you please offer these flashlights without glue on the threaded connections of the flashlight so that we can take them completely apart for modifications at a later date? If so, I will definitely buy at least 1 (probably many more) at $150.

At $150-$200 count me in for one. I think that's a bit of wishful thinking though.
Maybe if we had 100 people commit, but not for 10-20-30 lights we're likely to get in a GB.
Guess we'll wait and see. I do agree with you guys 100% though, this would be excellent marketing for them, easily worth any offset in pricing.
Finding more and more with these lights that it’s the same amount of lumens each time just divided into more LEDs. For this to be worth while it needs to be pushing out north of 3000 OTF lumens or else what’s the point? Just go get another cheaper shower head…….
Send one out for a review. A good (or great) review will get you more sales than a price reduction on an unknown light.

I really want to help everyone to get the best price but it is already very close to our produce cost and as you know Fenix sell their RC40 at $369.96 without shipping and buyers need to pay the paypal transfer cost. So we are about $100 cheaper than that in the group buy. By the way, our distributors in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and other countries have already ordered the first batch of X60. For $299 I would suggest you to send one sample to one of the reputable reviewers in this forum and do a full review of it. A good review of this light will definitely be more convincing to buyers and willing to pay such amount of money.
