Yeah, mine has shown “origin post is preparing shipment’ since the 23rd….eagerly awaiting it’s arrival!
Me too, I checked this morning and the USPS indicates “Origin Post is Preparing Shipment”.
I got mine yesterday. It’s a very nice light!
Mine has a bit of an audible high-pitched noise. I can hear it in the all modes to some extent. It’s not very loud, but if you’re dead silence you can easily pick it up. I was in a closet trying the light.
do you have any of the other s series?

If it wasn’t for labor day, i’d probably have mine today, maybe tomorrow….it’s already left the main receiving in NY, generally goes straight to a main Texas distribution center, then I have it next day….but then again, this is the first time I’ve ordered to this address since I moved last month, so I might not get it till wednesday or thursday 
I'm hoping this is light #3 that shows up tomorrow. I didn't pay for tracking, so it'll be a surprise.

Some whining in medium.. but I fastened the pill a bit more and it stopped the whining.
I would still like to know if I can get rid of the blink in both the s5 and s8.
I was thinking about connecting to one of the other stars on the driver, to get a low medium high, without the option to choose between the 2 sets and get rid of the blink. I wonder if those stars still have a function or if it's been removed with the reprogramming of the driver firmware.
