Ok this weekend I’m listing my Ultrafire T-90 super thrower mod. This light is simply insane in the throw department and lumen output is very high. It has a 78mm reflector and the driver is 7amps it has a 20mm de-domed XM-L2 U2 C1 noctigon. It is sitting on top of another 20mm Copper star, the two have been lapped together to the base and epoxied with wakefield deltabond. This allows the light to be focused better than without the extra star because it wouldn’t quite go all the way into the reflector properly. It is now perfect and you can focus or defocus the light simply by screwing the head. As it sits now it’s perfect. This light can use either 18650’s or 26650’s.
Here is a thread started by relic 38 on his mod of the same light he has some numbers posted. Although his numbers are posted without the extra star or with having filed out the flat bottom of the reflector which also gives more throw because more light enters the reflector.
