I said I would get back with some feedback on the emitters from Simon, the aliexpress seller.
Emitters were nicely packed and marked. My package used a very long time, but I don't blame the seller, it was just one of those slow packages. Or should I say, slow planes. :p I had tracking, which is nice. :)
T2 8B4 (80CRI minimum)
is just like described. Its quite unique being that warm. Its very warm, and on the yellow side of things. It is certainly warmer then all my emitters in the "7" range and less warm compared to a de-domed 7C, which I assume is more of a "9" in terms of temperature. :p
For general flashlight use, its a too yellow for me.
If you loose electricity and you want light mimicking indoor warm lighting and being a bit "cosy". Its nice. But those rare times, I end up using candles instead of tail standing flashlights. Id also prefer a de-domed "7" emitter since that is even more "cosy".
Could be nice emitter inside a tent when camping when you want very warm light.
Might be a nice emitter for mixing with cooler emitters in a multi-emitter light if you want to warmen it up. I might end up using it for that, or just having it available for comparison or as a unique light that is warmer than most. To sum it up. This emitter is not for everyone, but it seems to be just as described.
T4 7A3 (80CRI minimum)
Again, tint is just like described. Output seems good, and color rendering is great for this warmth. I like this emitter much better than various other "7" emitters I used before, which were on the yellow side of things. This is easily my favorite WW emitter when looking at proper warm in the 3000K range. It beats the various 90+ CRI emitters (XP-G2 and XM-L2) IMO. The reason for that is due to it being less yellow in the tint, and thereby it renders colors very nicely. Highly recommended if you are looking for a proper warm emitter.
As for my logic to liking more "red" in the warm emitters I think it has to do with that warm emitters as often being perceived as yellow, possibly orange. But this just adds that little red-tone making it very nice. Its also on the upper side of 3000K, not below (beeing warmer than 3000K).
T4 7A4 (80CRI minimum)
Currently this emitter is no longer seen in his store. Again, just like described. More red/rosy compared to the 7A3. Im not that into the 6A1 due to its "rosy" look. But this one I like. :) I might end up using mix it with some more yellow emitters, but its pretty nice! :) I prefer the 7A3, but this is also nice. :)
T4 6A3 (80 CRI minimum)
Why isnt he selling this anymore, and why are IOS selling T3 6A1 instead?? I can not verify the bin. I can only say that side by side with a T4 5B1 at similar current and similar reflector it looks very equal in terms of output.
For those who want a slightly warm emitter and are not into the warm stuff down towards 3000K. This emitter is just great. Its not really yellow in tone, it has that slight hint of red in it. Basically confirming its "A3". I really like this emitter. If people who are skeptical about WW then this emitter should be the entry into the land of WW emitters. Highly recommended!

I normally don't share MY THOUGHTS, on various emitters. But since this is a new seller, I would just say that his stuff seems like the real deal. And I got some emitters that are currently not found elsewhere, and they were really nice! :bigsmile: I hope he continue to sell the real deal and offer some stuff that is not seen elsewhere.
