Are you interested in more flashlight or more power bank aspects; or more of a compact design?
Thereâs this thread with some more suggestions.
I kind of like the JinHeng - I donât own one, but itâs on my wishlist.

Interesting to see a kit available.
@StyXSIS
thanks for the info
@bgyen
i prefer this light
because side switch and tail cap
to bad the price is a little bit high though
Iâve been looking around at quite afew so called âpower bankâ chargers since i read this thread and replied, and i have to say that this
3* 18650 batteries with 2* USBs to Charge different Mobile Devices with an XM-L2 emiter and Side-Switch
is the one iâve bought after reading alot, simply because it can charge 1 singular, or 2, or 3 batts or all at once balance charge 3 of them. The left usb port can give out alternating amps to charge an iphone or ipad which need 1A and 2A to charge. And the fact it can do that probably means alot of other things can either be charged or even powered by this FL (Maybe?, Iâll have to test that theory out when i get it).
LOL, i was posting what i bought as you were replying.
Awwww bugger, that is quite abit cheaper by $15, well nevermind. Iâve bought afew other things from them before anyway and had them fedexâd and they usually get here in less than 2 weeks, so iâm ok with the price.
wow⌠the different is XML2 and XML U2 is $15 ?!?
Nice. Comments on the page say that itâs back ordered though, so I guess Iâm going to be waiting a while.
I think there must be better ways to charge your phone, and certainly better flashlights for $14. Seriously, if you want an emergency power source for your phone itâs easier to carry a USB cable and 1 watt PS than the light you linked. If the power goes out for any non-trivial length of time a single 18650 is not going to help your phone significantly given the horrible efficiency of one battery charging another. OTOH if youâre just looking for a cute little kit to put together, than have at it! :bigsmile:
By current I think you mean Voltage.
From your link - Output: 5.3V (1% Error), 800mA
@photon1k
i have 4 x18650 PS and that is too big for me to carry around
@fartybum
yeah sorry i just want to make sure about is that really 800mA or not,because i need at least 1A
Yeah, I wouldnât want to carry that either. Thatâs why I suggested a USB cable and a 1W wall wart, unless you spend a lot of time off the grid. But even then you could power the charger from your car.
working night shift sometimes i donât have much time to charge my phone so i need a small but enough current power bank to charge my phone 2 or 3 times ,android phone really power hog even at minimum setting
i cant find a way to choose different led on kaidomain. On the other site its clearly that you have options:
is it available at kaidomain on 40$ with neutral white?
maybe if you order at least 100 pcs they will consider adding NW tint :bigsmile:

After serious consideration âŚi will pass
I bought a couple of power banks in the past and both of them broke down.
If your selfphone has a micro usb input you can travel and have this (1âŚ. 2âŚ.) as a charger. You will only need to charge the torch by night and use the wire to charge your phone during day from the flashlight. it is a good option actually

My android phone was the same way when I first got it. There are several apps on the play store to monitor and control battery use. I donât recall which ones helped me - I had to experiment, but I did manage to reduce battery consumption by about 40%. I think it varys a bit between phones because of different versions of android and apps that youâre running.
Thanks for posting this, I have been looking for a modeable charger/flashlight for daysâŚ
Sadly the star makes almost no contact to the tube, I will order one and check what can be improved.
