3-Mode
Anybody ever seen this design before ?
Looks pretty cool to me, 1st thing would be to tear off the useless clip IMHO anyway.
Updated Link for the $4.24 Gold light.
3-Mode, IF you count the strobe, grrrr

I've seen it somewhere(?), don't have one.

Looks nice, FT says it has Glass lens.

better looking than the Sipik clone in my opinion…
That's where I saw it. It's on my wish list. Seems like everything is.
Everyone says everything has a glass aspheric…. have yet to see a glass optic that small stock.
BLF members are hilarious:
“That’s like saying “My car has top-speed of 200k millimiles per hour”. Why not to just say 10 Ah?”
Wallbuys have these on sale right now, 2.99 USD each:
black
gold
I was about to post the same links LOL
I want to buy these flashlights, I want not.. Now I’m pulling my hair out.
I'm switching my BLF account into LumenZilla. Thanks!
The FastTech one drops to $ 5.19 using the discount code “ BLF “.
That Canadian flashlight guy & Lantern Guru -Den / DBSARlight
yeah, i’ve bought both of them. will complement my sipik sk68 clones in the giveaway drawer
I got black one from ebay auction for $3, still waiting for it to arrive.
I DO appreciate it, however those are single mode units.

The gold wallbuys version says 1-mode, but the black wallbuys version says 3-mode. No idea if either or both are typos or not.
Also CREE XP-E (WB links) vs CREE XM-L Q5 (Ebay links) vs CREE XP-E R2 (FT link)
Great odd colors and an interesting emitter for ~6 bucks!
Anyone have one in hand? Curious how far it can be disassembled.
That flashlight is less bright than a sipik sk68 clone, a guy that have it wrote it.

And the lens has a longer focal length by the looks of it: so smaller hotspot but not brighter.

Can anyone comment on the beam and tint?
The Fasttech beamshots look ringy when zoomed, and some yellow shows up on the floor shot.
Inquire…Choose…Proceed
I ordered one today, will let ya know the tint & performance when it gets here.
Linkage to the Gold one, $4.24
Sometimes I think the China vendors use the Death Valley Days, 20-Mule Team for shipping

The lens looks flatter than that of an SK68. That would make it have a smaller spot but less light in the spot. Otherwise it seems a style variant.
Flashlight designers should look at lighthouses and pottery.
这些谁设计的手电筒应该看灯塔,以及在陶器。
I got both a black (Walbuys) and gold (ebay) one. Both have 3 modes and plastic lens. They really focus down to a tight hot spot. They are pretty neat compact zoomies.
Any pics of one next to an SK-68 clone? ^^
Mind that those shallow lenses give beautiful tight hotspots but the throw does not impress...
Can someone measure throw compared to a sk68?

I have one of the gold ones on order. I’ll do a comparison to an SK68 when I get it.

Not at the moment. I can take one tonight.
As far as the clip on the SK68 goes does it function if removed and are the screws flush when tightened down w/out the clip? I can’t seem to find any good pics of this. The review I found kind of gives an odd angle and not assembled.
Edit: Found a thread where the clip screws tighten down into the threads… Not sure if that is with or without the clip. I guess the screws could be filed down.
Couldn't pull up BLF last night to post this. I have the numbers written at home, but these should be close based on memory. I will double check tonight. I used an unprotected Sanyo 14500 cell for all the measurements. I'm calling the light "Slim" for lack of a better name.
Slim Gold - 4.4kcd at .47 amps - Lens diameter 18mm
Slim Black - 6.2kcd at .63 amps - Lens diameter 18mm
SK68 ranged from 9.5kcd to 10.8kcd. 10.8kcd was at 1.2 amps - Lens diameter 23mm
Clip does not screw on. It stays in place via a ring that is clamped between the body and the cap. The o-ring holds it nicely to the cap when the cap is off the body.
The SK68 caps fit the Slim lights, but not the other way around due to counter sink on SK68 body.
Sorry for the blurry pics. I set to macro mode. I think that is the wrong mode for the distance of most of the shots.
Slim beam on the right.
Thanks ImA4wheelr, this is what it is all about at blf: research to the bone on lights that cost almost nothing
.
This gives insight in the performance. So if the 'slim' would be upgraded to 1.2A the throw would more or less match the throw of the sk68, with a smaller hotspot.</p>
