Better do a capacity test
Got mine today - details here at Reply #5602
I dare not refer to it by post #
EDIT: My more trusted UFs also do NOT have engraving on the bottom.
Wow, mine even has Ultrafire laser cut on the Neg. end …
Already got mine. That has to be record on fast delivery. I haven't checked capacity yet, but it was well packaged. Thank you Tmart!
i got mine today. i haven’t received the dmm i ordered from tmart before this battery though…
I got mine today!
Just got mine, seems to be of ridiculous internal resistance.
The iCharger measured it at 138mOhms, and gave out only 111mAh at 1A discharge until 3.0V.
No wonder it was free
Be ware with explosions
Got it today. What a surprise, I thought it’s guaranteed “missing” mail with all the li-ion fuss nowadays.
Oh well, gonna test mine, will update soon.
Well that’s because these are Ultrafires, Chinese mail had a ban on batteries, not spontaneously combustible paperweights.
111mah LOL
At least mine’s better than ryansoh’s - came in at 3.81V, charged up to 4.2V soaking 601mAh to get there, now discharging @1A.
It does show high internal resistance, initial voltage drops immediately to 3.64V at start (against ~3.8V+ from good brands).
EDIT:
1A discharge gives 856mAh capacity for mine. For 1c, it’s doing alright
Still worth it. 1 cent is still a good price for slingshot ammo.
You got a “good” one! I actually got two of my Ultrafires showing about 40% stated capacity once, but the rest much less. A 28.5% of stated capacity is kinda within “normal” for Ultrafire!
Unfortunately ryansoh’s 4% is also “normal”….
Aint dat the truth! I would have been surprised if it the results were consistent.

Tore the fake wrapper off and the shell has no printing whatsoever; the insulator on top seems to be glued on coated paper (only seen plastic on pack pulls so far); 65mm casing with thin bottom tacked on.
I finally pulled this battery out of the packaging and did a few first with my hobby charger. First lithium ion, first data logging charge, first data logging discharge.
I don't get what happened during the charge. It jumped up to 4.2V within 15 minutes, current started dropping continuously, and voltage stayed at 4.2V until the 2 hour mark. Maybe it's high internal resistance. I don't have a way of testing that yet.
790 mAh at 1A discharge to 3.0V.
I tested my battery some months ago, and it had ~760-790 mah at 1A discharge as well.
I have 1 Ultrafire Blue and 1 UnarmFire (haha) Blue li-ions. Both of them only gave 320+mAh discharged @300mA.
