Which movie did you watch lastֻ

Last night I [finally] watched the last disc of season 8 of Weeds, including the finale. Gotta say, it really sucked. Woke up today very disappointed and let down. Left with the feeling the show was cancelled half way into writing the 8th season. Had a feel of “OK how are we going to wrap this up?… Let’s make this quick!”. :frowning: Sopranos, Lost, now this… ugh

The last I watched was Oblivion. Before that I saw Ironman 3 in the theater.

Oblivion was better than I expected. Ironman was highly entertaining but had tons of holes in the plot, pointless sub-plots, and a stupid ending.

I saw Warm Bodies last night, a different take on a zombie apocalypse.

Hadn’t heard anything about it, so I didn’t have any expectations but I really enjoyed it, a good mix of action and humor.

Hansel and Grettel

Troll Hunter !!!

Went in with no expectations, payed 0$ and was pleased!

About six years ago, I saw Halloween (2007) at the theatre. It was a reasonably good horror flick, but it's not for the squeamish.

On Monday, I (finally) saw Halloween II (2009) on my laptop. The movie was absolutely horrible, even though my laptop is awesome. Halloween II is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Avoid at all costs, even if you liked the 2007 prequel.

On Tuesday, I saw Gravity (2013) at the theatre.

Thank goodness Gravity was a great movie. (By the way, it's not a horror film.) I had almost lost hope for humanity after watching Halloween II the previous evening. Gravity was amazingly good. I'm not a big fan of Clooney, but he did a superb job, as did Sandra Bullock.

I don't care who you are, or what type of movies you like...

You need to see Gravity. 8)

The Iceman

Good movie

I want to see Gravity! I saw The Europa Report. Really good sci-fi.

It is awful, isn’t it? The first remake I could almost forgive. The originals were much better!

Yeah, the original Halloween movies are classics. I love John Carpenter's music, which Rob Zombie abandoned for no good reason. I mean, you buy the rights to make new Halloween movies, and you ditch the music? :X What was he thinking?

Plus I like just about everything about Michael Myers. I think his mask is totally awesome. I would love to get a Michael Myers mask to wear for Halloween, but my head is so huge that almost no mask will fit. Instead I wear a Friday the Thirteenth hockey mask because a hockey mask will fit.

Last night I watched The Conjuring.

Saw ‘Rush’ Sunday night. Really good movie, and it’s not centered on Chris Hemsworth. Any narration in the film is from Nikki Lauda’s point of view and it’s more about their on-track rivalry and what happened therein. Really good film even if you’re not into cars or racing.

Days off and bad weather so:

Last night:

- Chasing Ice

Tonight:

  • Perfect Sense (as posted by Chloe).

Beware of Mr. Baker. It's a documentary on Cream's drummer, Ginger Baker. (considered by many to be the best rock drummer in history) I thought it was amazing

Or was he Baker Gurvitz Army’s drummer?

Love that guy!

Hilarious politically colored movie with fantastic aesthetics and camera.

Yep, same guy :)

See the trailer

This was scary! I really liked it.
