Being the first NiMH D cell I test, I cannot say much about it, compared to other D cell.
But I do like the 10Ah capacity.

Notes and links

Note: I have updated this review, because I had some faulty 15A & 20A curves, my current equipment cannot handle 20A below 1.2 volt.

How is the test done and how to read the charts

It’s good to know there may be viable competition in the narrow D-cell field.
If the reliability turns out to be decent these may be a real find.

seriously, looks like great batteries.

Without knowing about self discharge though. Any plans to test that HKJ?

Wish there was a US distributor.

No, but it is not low self discharge. Tensai does also have some LSD D cells with 8000mAh and I am going to test them, but not the LSD aspect.

That is quite impressive. Good cells.

Maybe I missed it …

From a German manufacturer called Enerpower, they have a shop called http://store.enerdan.de/ but the batteries are not in it yet.

Might be the same seller, Berlin, Germany:

Also, there is this US Seller for Tenergy:

Same Company on Ebay:

Yes, that is the same company.

I was not aware of this brand, thanks HKJ for review.

Genius
i mean the battery name is Tensai,it mean genius in english

So….The Tenergy D is the same cell?
There’s a ‘regular’ (blue) and Premium (white)?

I cannot answer that.

If I had tested the Tenergy cells, I could take a qualified guess.

Cost about twice as much as Tenergy D's at Ebay. Better be terrific cells if that's representative.

Well this is a surprise, i used 10 of these Tensai D’s a month back i think ? to rebuild 2 Tiga 6v batt’s for an old sl9x headtorch that got lost in a box for over 2 years and the cells just died and £432 is Ridiculous! for 2 new ones, when i could just do a recell for £105 that is (same ebay place as flomotion has given i think). The new cell rebuilds are better than expected though, and they last 2hrs more on high than the old ones did on high so the new ones are great and the new user is more than happy with over 10hrs on high, and well over 16 on low.

Thank you HKJ for another very informative cell review.
