Recieved your september packages?

I’ve got one outstanding ebay light from august 31st.

stupidly I missed my PayPal date but they are responsive to messages, we’ll see, it was only a 20 quid chance purchase possible mt-g2 so I’m not really crying about it.

The delay with the Convoy lights delivery is mostly my fault, and most of the rest of the blame lies with the postal service.

The cellguy order was a pre-purchase.

Update - Received an order from FT yesterday within 3 weeks from shipping date, which is back to what it used to be before this fiasco.

That one ‘overtook’ the other two FT orders that are now pushing 6 & 7 weeks & still waiting.

Also, got my PP claim refunded from WB

What do you do if you receive the item fairly soon after a refund?

I have gotten two very slow packages several months ago from two different vendors. Arrived after 47 days. I then cancelled the claim I had started 3-4 days earlier...

I have no intention of benefiting from all this shipping delays as long as the stores sent the packages within reasonable time and I get my products... But ill start a claim right before I have waited 45 days just to get the insurance in case the package does not arrive..

I was informed 4 days ago that my two Wallbuy orders from Sept 4/13 (mostly batteries during their battery sale) will be returned to them as they won’t pass inspection. They informed me they would reship them within 48hours which I am still waiting confirmation on with a new tracking number. I did file a paypal complaint before the 45 days for both of these to cover my butt… although with this wait I’m thinking a refund either from them or paypal will be the best bet.

Today I received an email about the LusteFire K-08 I ordered on their recent sale. It is out of stock from the supplier. I have asked for a refund rather than picking something else. Definitely not having allot of luck with Wallbuys as of late! :~

I totally hear you on not taking advantage, but I don't know what I will do if that situation occurs as something isn't adding up here. I get the sense that the vendors will be or have already been compensated for the orders. I'm to tired to recite all the things that make me wonder that. Here are a few:
  • I've came to expect every package to arrive so I was complacent on monitoring. I realize I didn't get some ebay items and I was tpo late to file PP claims. I contact the vendors. Both vendor immediately issue me refunds with apologies. No third party needed to resolve. It was as if they knew the items did not ship to me (Maybe returned to them already) or they had already been compensated in some way.
  • A couple vendor have proactively told me an order was returned to them for failing inspection and are offering refund or reship. Both cases are close to claim time. In the past they want to refund only. I said reship and they reshipped. Didn't even ask me not to file a claim.
  • At least one vendor is recommending that we file PP claims. That is unusual. Usually, they keep recommending to wait. I've only had to file a couple claims, but when I did the vendors were not shy to repeatedly email me asking me to close the claim.
I don't know. This is different behavior. I feel like there is something we don't know. So if I file a claim, wait until the last second to escalate and then finally actually get the package (doubt that will happen), I don't think I will be calling the vendor asking how I can pay them. I'm have a feeling they already have been.

What would you do if the item arrives after you’ve been refunded?

One order from 9/4/2013 (drivers only) and one order from 9/24/2013 (1 light and some drivers) from FT last week.

One order from WB (AA-S1) and one order from Banggood (laser thermometer). Latter order arrived in about 2 weeks.

I have a big problem with orders from Ebay. Just received one from august. :~
My orders from wallbuys are a little faster.Still waiting for 4 batteries from FT.

I just filed almost a dozen disputes total with 7 different vendors this morning. More to be filed as the days pass. I will wait to the last couple days to escalate.

Wow.. that is a lot of slow packages ImA4Wheelr! Sorry to hear that, at least you are in good company with several others..

While this is not surprising, considering that not so long ago almost everything coming from overseas took 6-8 weeks, it is now becoming frustrating. In the past, any mods or lights I was ordering for were my own and there wasn’t a particular rush to get the stuff. Plus, I’m so forgetful that the amount of time it took was hardly noticed. But I have recently been doing a few mods for friends and it’s very very frustrating when simple parts don’t come in and I can’t finish something I started.

Something as simple as Silicone insulated 22ga wire can be a big set-back…can’t find anything close anywhere in my area. Start a project thinking you have enough wire to finish it and find out there’s 3 times more wiring inside than expected….aaaagghhh!

On the forgetful page, I can get a mod all figured out, order the parts…sometimes from the necessary different vendors…and by the time everything comes in I’ve forgotten the game plan! lol, Yeah, I know, I need to write it down, blueprint it, have a plan, yada yada yada. Then I’d be lucky to find the blueprint. :stuck_out_tongue:

On the plus side, I’m getting my exercise! The round trip walk to the mailbox is 534 yds, if the mailman hasn’t come yet I get to do that 2 or 3 times a day! Getting more fit even as I get more grey. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Chinese holiday + FastTech slow shipping threw my packages way off course.

Shipments from the US have taken two weeks to reach here, compared to a week for FT to just send an item out.

I have not received anyone of the missing September packages in OP... Just filed another dispute.. More to be filed in the upcoming days if none of the packages arrive.

Any luck with all your slow packages ImA4Wheelr?

How long to you guys wait before escalating from dispute to claim? Its now 50 days since I ordered the package I have waited for the longest. Never had a package that slow before..

I'm still waiting for two packages ordered 29. Aug. (and missed the paypal limt for the claim) and one which is shipped on 15.09. They packages include only knives, not li-ion batteries.

One claim resulting in refund. One dispute open. Two orders at day 34 & 35.

I have delay from Fasttech (24 days and does not appear Track in HKpost).
2 delays also from Ebay.
:weary: :weary:

I'm done with China now because their shipping SUCKS! I'll pay more and buy from USA sellers only from now on. I say that because it takes forever now for packages to arrive, that's IF they arrive...

It's a mixed bag for me. I was able to close 2 disputes because orders arrived in the last couple days. Most of the disputes I filed were closed by the seller refunding me. In their responses, they said the package could not clear security and were returned to them. It would have been nice if they would have told me that before I waited until the last minute to file a dispute. For the remaining 4 disputes, I'm waiting on until the last day or two to escalate.

I was too late to dispute on a few orders. One is a $70+ order with FT. We'll see what they do.

I will probably be filing a good half dozen more disputes if they do not arrive in the next week.

+1

Which stores did not inform you about this?

Was this normal packages, or anything with li-ion or something special?
