New flashlight company: Imalent. Flashlights with display

I smell a Group Buy in the air

T4A is so good looking light

touch screen? seriously?

They look very good. If it works as demonstrated on the site I’d want one, depending on cost, the DC2R looks right for me.

I feel like the control screen needs to be moved like 2-3 inches back.

I like the screen (DD2R is 1x18650 too, review sample plz!!) but I don’t want the built-in charger. I wonder if the touch screen/digitizer goes funny when it gets hot, like my phone does…

Try using it with gloves :open_mouth:

Looks good! Looks expensive too..

All of them look quite awesome..

I really like the T4A.. Compact triple emitter light with high output and 4 AA sized batteries. Hopefully its reaching its max potential with nimh..

It's not the phone Chloe....it's you

I was just looking at these lights

That may be the future. Flashlights need a better way to control infinitely variable output than control rings, and this is one option.

Oooh, nice, thanks! That T4A looks sweet—I want one.

Seller says XM-L2 in headline and description, but pictures seems to show XP-Gs, and so does manufacturers image description.. FAIL..

Otherwise, based on earlier auctions, some of these seems to have been sold for not too extreme prices. Im not buying, but I sure would like to see a review.. :)

YOU, reading this.. Click buy on one of these. You know you want to. 0:)

Edit:

XP-G

Looks like XP-Gs..

XM-L2

huh??

I hate auctions with reserves...

^

why don't they just start at what they're willing to sell at?

I think we're looking at the same item.

Looks cool, I wonder what they are gonna retail for.

99 cents

ill take three!

What’s the difference between DD2R and DC2R?

Hope we don't get in a bidding war ramblings!

Want it, but not that bad... Yet.

I never do a 99 cent auction with a reserve. I either start it at the minimum I will take or a buy it now with a best offer option.

Edit: did you just bid? Lol

3 xm-l2s and only gets 1085lms?

Because NDT-forbid that every single light have it’s emitter driven to the ragged edge of it’s operating envelope.

An emitter’s output is a parabolic curve. As you increase output, it takes more and more energy to get the next lumen. It’s the law of diminishing returns. By using several emitters driven less harshly they can get a higher net efficiency from the torch, thus yielding a longer runtime for a given output setting.
